@S H I completely understand, and honestly, you’re not alone, many indie authors face the same challenge. The truth is, simply publishing on Amazon or B&N doesn’t guarantee visibility or sales. You’re already making a real effort with schools, libraries, word of mouth, Instagram, and your website. I think the main issue may be that you need a more focused strategy to turn those efforts into reader engagement, followers, and eventually sales. I’d be happy to look at what you’re currently doing and share a few ideas that could help simplify and strengthen your approach.

@Danielle Marietta Oh no, I’m sorry to hear you’ve had another major issue with IngramSpark. That can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’ve already invested so much time into getting everything set up. Honestly, I don’t believe there is one single “best” platform for every self-published author, it really depends on your goals. My current view is that Amazon KDP is still one of the strongest options for reaching readers directly, particularly because of Amazon’s enormous customer base and its straightforward ebook and print-on-demand system. For authors who want wider ebook distribution beyond Amazon, Draft2Digital can also be a strong option because it provides access to multiple retailers through one platform. IngramSpark still has value, particularly for authors who want broader print distribution to bookstores and libraries, but if the platform itself is repeatedly causing you major problems, it may be worth reassessing whether the benefits are actually worth the frustration for your particular publishing strategy. What issue did you run into with IngramSpark this time? If you tell me what happened, I’d be happy to give you my honest thoughts on whether it makes sense to stay with them or consider a different publishing setup.
