Getting Back into the Groove
Nervous system was not ready for the first set but the rest were clean. It was a good workout but great dynamic stretching to start.
Getting Back into the Groove
4 x 5 Ring Pull Ups
Grip is still wonky on a straight bar. Finally saw a hand specialist on Tuesday and no need for surgery which is good. Total for the week is 100reps so far.

@Zack Zeigler it took them almost 4 weeks for me to see him. Fracturing the tuft is a weird feeling grabbing stuff.

@Kevin Anspach I use a hook grip and the extra rotating helps release excess pressure on my finger.
Good Morning
Hope everyone has an amazing day . Stay on track with the workouts (mission /challenge) Setbacks don’t mean you failed. Sometimes they’re the moment life forces you to rebuild stronger, smarter, and more focused than before. Starting over isn’t going backward. It’s taking everything you’ve learned, everything you’ve survived, and using it to build something better. You’re not starting from zero. You’re starting from experience. Keep going.

We often push ourselves to failure when working out and it only makes us stronger. As John Maxwell says, "Sometimes we have to slow down to speed up". Thank Coach.
Challenge Check in Day One
Welcome back, everyone! 👊 Checking in — how did everyone do with the challenges so far? Drop your progress in the comments. What felt good? What was tough? A few of you asked for tips on pull-ups, so here we go: If pull-ups are tough: • Use an assisted pull-up machine or resistance band • Start with slow negatives — get to the top and lower yourself for 3–5 seconds • Add dead hangs to build grip strength • Practice scapular pull-ups to learn how to engage your back • Keep your core tight and think about driving your elbows down toward your sides And if pull-ups are too easy… guess what? Make them harder. 😈 Try: • Weighted pull-ups • Slow 3–5 second negatives • Pause for 1–2 seconds at the top • Chest-to-bar pull-ups • Wide-grip pull-ups • 1½ reps — all the way up, halfway down, back up, then all the way down • Higher-rep sets with shorter rest periods The goal is simple: meet yourself where you are, then make it a little harder. Don’t just go through the motions. Challenge yourself, track your progress, and get better every week. Now check in below — how did you do?

I use the rings because hand placement across a bar is difficult currently (fractured my finger). Did 3 sets of 10 this morning with strict form. LETS GEAUX!
CHALLENGE: Bring Your Receipts
⚔️ PROJECT 300 SKOOL — WEEK 1 CHALLENGE BRING YOUR RECEIPT: THE 300 PULL CHALLENGE First week. First challenge. This is not about who is the strongest person in the group. It’s about starting where you are, choosing the right level, putting in the work, and proving to yourself that you can follow through. THE GOAL: Accumulate 300 quality pulling reps by the end of the week. Nobody has to be able to do a strict pull-up yet. Pick the version that matches your level: • Inverted / TRX rows • Band-assisted pull-ups • Machine-assisted pull-ups • Negative pull-ups • Strict pull-ups • Weighted pull-ups Break the 300 up however you want: 50 reps × 6 days 100 reps × 3 days Small sets throughout the week A few sets after each workout It doesn’t matter how you get there. JUST GET THERE. The point of this challenge is that everyone can participate, regardless of fitness level. The person doing TRX rows is working toward the same goal as the person doing weighted pull-ups: GET STRONGER. And remember: QUALITY REPS COUNT. EGO REPS DON’T. Before you start the challenge, do one max-quality set using the variation you plan to use. Write that number down. That is your starting point. At the end of the week, after completing your 300 reps, test yourself again using the same movement. Your first Project 300 lesson: ESTABLISH THE BASELINE. PUT IN THE WORK. TEST YOURSELF AGAIN. PROVE PROGRESS. Every rep this week is another deposit. Every workout is another receipt. At the end of the week, I don’t want to hear what you planned on doing. I want to see: 300 / 300 ✅ Don’t tell us what you’re going to do. BRING YOUR RECEIPT. ⚔️ Post videos and send your comments . We will have a LIVE on Wednesday at 10am (Eastern To Address all questions) PROJECT 300 SKOOL STARTS NOW. (Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. Stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or unusual symptoms.
