You made a mistake. Now someone's got a submission locked in. Do you: A) Tap early, no ego, live to roll another day B) Fight it a little, see if there's an escape C) Full survival mode, refuse to go out easy D) Tap late and immediately blame the mat, the gi, the humidity 😂 Where do you land, and has that changed with age?

Twenty-two-year-old me: shoot every time. Master-athlete me: suddenly the guard pull is looking very wise and very healthy for my joints. 😂 Has this changed for you over the years, or are you loyal to one?

Just a grateful post after this weekend in Vegas at the IBJJF. Thank you to Brian to have dealt with my nine sense stories and keeping me focus, showing me that fuels matter.
