This is something I’ve been contemplating recently I’ve transitioned from a standard mixed diet, to high raw, to mucusless (fruits, starchless vegetables and leafy greens only, cooked or raw, Arnold Ehret style) and I’ve also experienced periods of being 100% raw, including 7 days fully raw recently. What I’ve noticed is that with every progression towards 100% raw, I seem to feel better and better, with 100% raw being where I personally feel at my peak. There’s something about being 100% raw and low fat that I just can’t seem to replicate eating any other way. For me personally, it feels like the dietary peak. I’m happy with how gradual my transition has been because I once believed I’d never give up certain foods that I’ve now naturally let go of. I currently eat mucusless full time, but even adding something as simple as steamed broccoli or cauliflower, I notice a difference in how I feel. The difference might only be 8 or 9/10 vs 10/10 But I sometimes catch myself thinking, “I want that 10/10 every day!” Because that 10/10 genuinely feels like I have special powers hahaha. There’s this little voice that surfaces like: “You could be maxed out today. Why aren’t you maxing out?!” Not in a beating-myself-up kind of way, because I don’t think that would be healthy. It’s more like once you’ve experienced what your 10/10 feels like, you notice the gap. It reminds me of getting 10/10 sleep for a period and then dropping to 8/10. Objectively, 8/10 is still great, but you know how 10/10 feels. Anyway, this post is really just me airing out my thoughts I’m thinking about experimenting with fully raw for September and seeing how I feel after a full month. Has anyone else experienced that feeling where your current diet feels great, but you’ve experienced another level that keeps calling you back? Would love to hear your experiences. 🍉
