Virtual Sales Reps! We Ready to Help
Getting help without becoming the trainer We spent a lot of this weekend on one question: how do we actually help you get help? Because hiring isn't the hard part. Training is. Most owners hire a VA and end up as the trainer, the manager and the backup. So we built Talent + Team Support. We use the same hiring process we run at KC Power Clean to recruit, screen and score candidates. You watch short intro videos, interview your favorites, and you make the call on every hire. We landed on two options and I'm really confident in both. OPTION #1 Staffed + supported (what I'd recommend if you don't currently employ VA's and a staff to train them): FREE VA placement and about $2,700/mo, which covers your VA's pay, training and weekly coaching here inside the Lion's Den. It's a 6-month commitment. At month 6 you can bring your VA in-house for $2,500 and drop the pay to around $1,800-$2100/mo. OR OPTION #2 Placement only: $1,000 per hire. You pick from up to 5 vetted candidates, with a 30-day guarantee. You handle all training and all management. It's your VA that you run on your books however you deem appropriate. On the first option your VA joins our training library (CRM, inbound calls, scheduling, quote follow-up, customer service, AI tools, screen monitoring, access to daily huddles and chat support) plus a weekly live group call where our sales training will even role-play and provide feedback. You stop running the classroom. Short overview here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1vGYtnOutXjoFnq3IuyXG1BdCOddKyriX4jRMVbPw1Xc/edit?usp=sharing Where are you at right now: trying to make your first hire, or you've got someone who needs better training? This is awesome. Love to do the rubber hit the road like this.
Help me shape Thursday's call
Quick one, I need your input before I change anything. Thursday's call has been open Q&A with me. Right now it's locked to VIPs. I've been thinking about turning it into structured sales training, where we role play and work through real calls together. But I don't want to swap out something that's working just because I like the idea. So vote below. If you'd pick a second meeting, drop the day and time that actually works for you. If you feel strongly either way, message me directly. I want to hear it. And honestly, thank you for being in here early. You're the ones helping shape what the Den becomes. What's the one sales problem you'd want us to hit first?

@Jon Karmazyn I was thinking this exactly. Life cycle of the whole sales process, each step etc.
Advertising
If you could pick one avenue to pour money into for marketing that you have found has the best ROI. What would that be?

Meta ads have been ripping in my market. Seems like one of those marketing channels that do really well in some markets and not quite as well in others. Our market is pretty spread out so I think it works well for that reason.

@Brandon Metzger heavy on creatives up front. Test each for at least 7 days @ no less than $25/day, the more per day the faster the learning. Then scale winners over all else is typically my approach. We’re small so my numbers aren’t crazy but this year I started all new creatives at $25/day then cut them at day 10 or so if they weren’t performing, but winners I’d scale up to $300+ per day during peak season. I just like seeing how far I can push it until Cpl starts climbing. Sometimes winners don’t start climbing for a good while so scoop up what you can with the ones that are performing. I’m not an ads expert so this may or may not be “best practice”. But my general approach is “the highest performing money printer wins” which I think is probably hard to go wrong with 😂
Under the Hood: KC Power Clean's Monthly P&L August 2026
I'm doing something most coaches won't. I'm opening up KC Power Clean's August P&L and walking you through it on a Loom. Revenue, labor, fuel, overhead. Real overview... Why? Anybody can tell you what to do. I'd rather show you what I actually did and what it cost. I'll be straight with you. I'm not polished. My spreadsheets aren't pretty, I go on tangents, and I'll probably say "um" more than I should. But you'll never have to wonder whether what I show you is real. Messy, sure. Hidden, never. That's my commitment to this group. If I'm asking you to trust me with your time and your money, I'm putting mine on the table first. This isn't a flex. I'm showing you my scoreboard so you can build yours. Every number on that P&L was once a number I didn't understand. I learned to read it, and you can too. While you watch, look for: 1. The concept of viewing the "chart of accounts" or "buckets" as a % of revenue 2. The structure of the top half vs bottom half 3. The pressure on the sales machine as the overhead grows Watch it here Coming soon: Finance learning modules in the premium tier VIP: We can schedule a call soon to open up the books and go through a CFO style exercise to critique the numbers. Drop your questions in the comments.
