Getting Customers to Leave Google Reviews
I was wondering if anyone else runs into this issue. When my guy or I complete a job, most of the time, the customer is very happy with the finished product. When I send the invoice, I include a link to my Google Business page and ask for a review. I’ll also mention it again when I follow up about a week later, but it rarely seems to work. Has anyone dealt with something similar or found a better way to get satisfied customers to actually leave a review?

Yes man, common issue. Customer is happy and excited about the work performed, but forget to leave a review. 1. Do you have the dedicated link set up within your Google account or are you just asking them to find you on Google and submit a review? Their is a way to set up a direct link to your company where it skips some friction points for the customer. 2. Train your technician or have yourself do a walkthrough with the customer on the entirety of the project and towards the end ask them if they could do it to end the walkthrough. Most customers will have no issue doing it right there, plus if they have any difficulties you can assist them. It's a lot harder for a customer who is happy to say NO to your face then via a text message reminder. 3. If a customer forgets to fill it out even during this walkthrough, create an automation within your CRM to remind you ask again or to automatically reach out to the customer. A good starting goal is 25-50% of jobs turn into Google reviews. Hopefully this helped you, if you need more clarity feel free to email me at [email protected]
