Share your dog's biggest win this month
I want to hear what's working for people in this community. Doesn't have to be a major breakthrough. Could be your dog held steady for the first time. Finally nailed a recall under real distraction. Held through a flush without breaking. Whatever it is, put it in the comments. Drop a video if you've got one. These posts are how a community actually builds.

Almost two years old female. Working on staying steady. Still creeping some.
Forearm protection?
My pointer gets cut up a lot on her forearms below where a vest can protect. Around the elbows. Are there forearm guards for hard driving pointers out there that can protect this area?

@Jared Moss do you have a contact for Paws balm? Could be good because her back is also constantly raked. Chest protectors don't get the spot either. I tried a full jacket, but it was shredded in one hunt. I love her drive:) lol

I pointed to a full tub and said place. She hopped right in and calmly stood there for a bath. Not bad for a high energy pointer. Super dirty from pointing birds the day before. She cooled off in a mud hole.
Season has ended
Now that the upland seasons have all ended, what are you working on with your pup? and what was your most memorable experience from this past season?

Working on the house manners:) Story.... A guy just hopes his first-year pup has the drive to hunt. After two days of hunting and having to wear a T-shirt due to a large gash on her chest it was time to rest. 18 hours later my pup had not moved so I figured it was OK to briefly go outside. When I returned a few minutes later, she had finally moved. I found her on top of our guns as if she is saying you're not hunting without me. Let's GO!

Off season work. Recall. The dog doesn't want to come when she knows her training caller is off. She is pretty good at recall when she knows it's on, in the field, but at home in the house without a collar she not.

Raised in the Kansas countryside and have a high appreciate for the working dog. My day job is being a chiropractor:)
