The Blessing of Being a Blessing Scripture: Galatians 6:9–10 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Reflection Good morning, Kingslawn family in Christ. Have you ever considered that you might be the answer to someone’s prayer today? Sometimes we pray for God to send help, encouragement, comfort, or kindness into someone’s life, forgetting that God can work through our own hands, words, and actions. A simple phone call. A kind word. A moment of patience. A meal shared. Forgiveness offered. A listening ear. These may seem like small gestures, but to someone carrying a heavy burden, they can mean everything. Today’s scripture reminds us not to grow weary of doing good. And here is something beautiful to remember: Not every seed we plant will produce a harvest that we get to see. But that does not make the seed any less valuable. We may never know how deeply our kindness touched another person’s life. So today, rather than asking only what blessings God has prepared for us, let us also ask: “Lord, whose blessing can I be today?” Because sometimes the greatest way to experience God’s love is to become an expression of it. Let Us Pray 🙏 Heavenly Father, Thank You for waking us to another day filled with opportunities to love, serve, and make a difference. Lord, open our eyes to the needs of those around us. Help us recognize the quiet struggles that others may carry and give us hearts willing to respond with compassion. Teach us to be patient when patience is needed, generous when we have something to share, and kind even when no one is watching. Father, strengthen those who are tired from giving, caring, and serving. Remind them that their efforts are not forgotten and that every act of love has value. We lift up our church family, our children, our elderly, those who are sick, those who are grieving, and everyone facing challenges they may not speak about.
