10 Things I do after recording a podcast
1. Back up the episode to my drive 2. Record the intro 3. Send it to my editor 4. Create cover art for all formats (square and panoramic) 5. Write a title and caption (hint - the title should have "How to...") 6. Schedule the post 7. Send assets to my guest 8. Create a blog post 9. Create reels 10. Create a Pinterest post If you host a podcast, some of these might be new for you (especially number 10). If you are guesting, see how much of this you can use to get mileage out of your episode.

It looks great! Here's one thing I would caution - If it LOOKS like Chatty made it, then it's going to look like everyone else's, and become white noise. Here's what I would do: 1. Use this as a template - not the final product. 2. Cut half. Of everything. I would nix all the icons with the yellow backgrounds, but keep the numbered ones. 3. The samurai silhouette doesn't help you get booked. Try cutting that out too 4. You have two paragraphs of information in the top. Remove either the paragraph or your quote. 5. I love your headers - keep those, but shorten the "About" 6. send this to 50 event coordinators and ask for feedback - especially if they don't book you. All that being said, THIS IS GREAT!!! Here's why - it's DONE. That more than most people will do.

@Bart Merrell If you can, cut half of all the content, or spread it across two pages. Keep the sections if you can, just shorten them.

Don't miss this step if you want to get more clients...
What's the NUMBER ONE THING you need if you want to get more clients? Think of this as the "Costco Sample." When Costco samples a product, reports show that they have a 40% boost in sales. 40% - that's huge Your lead magnet does the same thing. Your lead magnet should - be free - be easily accessible - solve ONE problem - collect client contact info - SHORT *NOTE - freebies are different - freebies are totally free, open to download and don't require an email address. Freebies are GREAT, but they don't get you new leads. Test your lead magnets on social media - see which one get's the most traction, and remember, you'll get the most opt-ins when your lead magnet solves ONE problem for your ideal client from Step 1. What's your best performing lead magnet?

@Karin Crawford thank you for sharing that resource!
After months of prepping for this, I’m finally launching my own podcast.
Marianne finally convinced me... There are a thousand podcasts about becoming a better coach. This isn’t one of them. The Business of High-Ticket Coaching is live. Every week I sit down with a coach or consultant who has actually built the business, and I ask the things most interviews skip: What was your biggest flop of a launch? Where do your clients actually come from? What broke when you scaled? Who did you first hire, and when? What would you never do again? No origin stories. No “find your why.” Operators talking mechanics. The first week decides how hard the platforms push a new show, so if this is your kind of thing, please: Like this post Subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Leave a rating or a two-sentence review Send it to one coach who’d actually use it That last one matters more than the other three combined. Check it out
