TRANSFERRING SCHOOLS: WHAT NOT TO DO 🚨
If you’re transferring from a bigger school to a smaller school, there’s one thing you need to understand: You are NOT automatically the guy. Just because you transferred down doesn’t mean you should expect to start immediately. It doesn’t mean you’re entitled to 30 minutes a game. It doesn’t mean the coaches owe you a bigger role. And if the reason you transferred was because you weren’t good enough to play at your old school… transferring schools doesn’t magically make you better. The competition might be different, but there are still good players everywhere. There are kids at that school who have been putting in work for years. They’ve built relationships with their teammates. They know the system. They’ve earned their coach’s trust. You’re the new guy. So don’t walk in expecting everyone to move out of your way. Walk in ready to earn it. 🏀 Build relationships with your teammates. 🏀 Build trust with your coaches. 🏀 Learn the system. 🏀 Compete every single day. 🏀 Be willing to do the little things. 🏀 Earn minutes instead of demanding them. 🏀 Let your work speak for you. And most importantly, check your ego at the door. Your first goal shouldn’t be “How do I become the star?” It should be: “How do I help this team win?” If you’re good enough, your opportunity will come. But you have to prove it. Transferring can give you a fresh start. It cannot give you an automatic spot. Earn the respect. Earn the trust. Earn the minutes. Don’t expect your new school to hand you what you didn’t earn at your old one. Trainer: @Logan Hinton, a former 5 year pro across three countries. Train Like a Pro!

EXPLOSIVENESS STARTS HERE. 🧨🏀
If you want more bounce, more pop, and more explosiveness on the court, it starts here. It’s built in the weight room. It’s built through specific movements, intentional training, and discipline. Not by simply moving the heaviest weight possible. Strength matters—but so does how you build it. Your legs need to be strong enough to produce force, your hamstrings need to be prepared to handle and transfer that force, and your body needs to learn how to turn that strength into athletic movement. That’s why the details matter. You don’t train just to lift more. You train to move better. Jump higher. Explode faster. Because if you want to be great out there, you have to be willing to be great in here first. The dunks are the result. The work comes first. 🏀💯 Trainer: @Logan Hinton, a former 5 year pro across three countries. Train Like a Pro!
