My son asked if he could help on our project today. We removed an old rotted fence post and dug down 36” so we can install a new one. Here’s my son helping me. He can barely lift our post hole digger. I couldn’t be more proud!

For the longest time, wood fences have been built using wood posts. - Redwood Posts - Pressure Treated Posts - Cedar Posts But they all have one MAJOR flaw: they will rot and will break or fall down over time! No matter what you coat the wood post with to try and prevent it from rotting, it will always rot because it's a natural product. Check out a really cool alternative if you still want the look of wood but want more durability: The Metal T-Post. (There is also a brand called Postmaster+). We'll have a video coming out in the future showing exactly how we replaced a rotted wood post with one of these Metal T-Posts on a cedar fence and how it turned out. I've had the Dust Deputy in my "Things to Buy" list on Amazon for a couple years now. As I started to look at the Pro's and Con's between it and another Dust Collection System, my choice isn't as clear anymore (see attached picture). Which would you choose?
