Take time to go outside and see the beauty!
Happy Saturday Savvy Sisters! Today I’m remembering my walks in Portsmouth (UK) and the gorgeous colors of all the flowers that made me feel so grateful to be outside. What beauty is sitting outside your door today? Share it with us! Grateful to have you in this community. Feel free to post pictures too in the group.

I’m thankful for this patio at my apartment in San Miguel de Allende. Such a blessing to have this respite.
Week 5 Discussion: The Ritual (Habits of Abundance)
- Florence Nightingale said, "The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine." Looking at your daily flow, what is one other "habit of abundance" you might cultivate now that you have more financial awareness? - How has swapping your premium snacks or treats for homemade or bulk options impacted your morning routine—does it feel like a chore, or a mindful pause? - What is the highest "hidden" cost in your daily routine that you were surprised to find when you started tracking your habits?

One small thing I have changed is walking farther distances. The uber rides are so affordable that I got into the habit of using them simply because it was hot. But now I walk slower if I need to and I keep my portable fan with me at all times.
Week 2: Reflect and Discuss
1. What did I discover about my spending habits this week? 1. What do I need to let go of -Not financially, but emotionally—to further commit to my goals?

Vulnerable moment: as I have entered this challenge, I hit the realization that I still have mindset work to do when it comes to boundaries around giving money to family members. I have been the go to person to bail folks out and I have kept this up even though I am no longer working. (I know, I know.) The reality of living on savings for this much needed break from work have not been strong enough for me to put an end to this pattern of behavior. Heaven help!
Updated Community Rules
I am writing today from sunny Portsmouth, England, where I am enjoying a 2-week house sit with a previous client from 2024. As I hang out with my furry friend Nelson at my feet, I am using this time to do some housekeeping. There was a generic default list of community rules that I just updated that I hope it sends a message that we are here to support each other and our own unique journeys. So grateful for each of you. Here are the new rules: Savvy Sistahs Community Rules 1. Respect the Sisterhood — No judgment; wherever you are on your journey is the right place. 2. Keep It Real, Not Salesy — Share any relevant link within the community, but please speak to me before trying to pitch or sell something. 3. What's Shared Here, Stays Here — This is a safe space. If you did not say it, don’t share it.   Let others share their own stories.. 4. Lead With Encouragement — Build up, don't tear down. 5. Show Up As You Are — No age-shaming, no comparing chapters. 6. Ask For Help — Real questions get real answers. 7. Protect the Peace — Handle conflict with grace, flag issues to admins.

Look what I made....
The truth is that I love playing in Canva and creating digital art with and without the assistance of AI. The two images below are prospective assets for the new facelift of this community's about page and for my next YouTube thumbnail. I would love your feedback and input!
