Hi - A Community Give Away - an OMG Disaster has Struck - What Next Guide
Hello Skool Team - we are constantly impacted with various natural and human crafted disasters - and people impacted frequently don't know where to turn - I have crafted the attached freely distributable guide - I will post around and you can too - this is public domain information - and I hope you find it useful and I hope you don't need it today but if you do - here you go - Please share - and edit/comment and I will improve it. Danielle.
Monday: New Week! New Members! New Collaborations!
Monday Action: Build Your Collaboration Map, but first let's welcome 2 new members into the Success Syndicate. Welcome @Chris James from the UK, that has an interesting business that you just have to believe me on, lol. Also @Naomi Gartland has joined from the UK with a virtual and physical business. We look forward to having you both in conversations on how to grow business and ask for advice on your own that we all can help with. A new week means a new growth strategy inside the LGBTQ Success Syndicate. This week, we’re focusing on Building Strategic LGBTQ+ Collaborations, using partnerships, referrals, guest appearances, sponsorships, and community events to expand your visibility. You do not have to grow your business alone. Some of the best visibility opportunities come from getting connected to audiences that already exist. That might mean being a guest on someone else’s podcast, participating in a local Pride or business event, co-hosting a workshop, sponsoring a community program, cross-promoting with another business, creating a referral relationship, or inviting another professional into something you are producing. The key word is strategic. A good collaboration should create value for both sides. It should introduce your business to the right people, strengthen your credibility, and ideally lead to new conversations, referrals, customers, or community relationships. Monday Action: Create Your Collaboration Map Write down 5 people, businesses, organizations, podcasts, events, or community groups that already reach people you would like to connect with. Then ask yourself: What could I offer them? A guest appearance? Promotion? Expertise? Sponsorship? A shared event? Referrals? And just as importantly: What could we create together that benefits both of our audiences? Do not start with, “What can they do for me?” Start with, “What value can we create together?” That shift can turn cold outreach into a genuine relationship.

GALECA Dorian Television Award Winners Announced
Some of you may know, but for those that don't, I have been a voting member of the Gay And Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA), for the past 4 years. Each year we nominate and vote on the television shows, movies, and theatre productions that offer queer-themed content and mainstream. I love this organization and have been able to interview some amazing people on my podcast through the connections I have made there. This year I was about 54% in my nominations with the group and 76% in my winner selections. Look over the attached list and let me know some of your favorites in television over the past year.

Coffee Chat 10AM EST. Visibility To Profit: Your Brand Voice
Make Your Brand Voice Work for You So far this week, we’ve built the foundation for turning visibility into revenue: Monday: We mapped the path from discovery to customer. Tuesday: We chose the right platform to focus on. Wednesday: We created content with a purpose. Today, we focus on something that ties all of it together: Your brand voice. Your brand voice is not just what you say. It’s how people recognize you, remember you, and decide whether they trust you. When someone sees one of your posts, hears you on a podcast, watches you speak, visits your website, or meets you at an event, your message should feel consistent. That does not mean robotic. It means recognizable. Think about three qualities you want people to associate with your business. Maybe you want to sound: Knowledgeable. Approachable. Bold. Or perhaps: Warm. Professional. Encouraging. Those three words can become a simple filter for everything you create. Before you post, speak, email, or pitch an opportunity, ask: - Does this sound like us? - Does it reflect what we believe? - Does it make the next step clear? Consistency creates familiarity. Familiarity builds trust. And trust makes it easier for someone to move from simply knowing your name to actually doing business with you. Thursday Action: Define Your 3-Word Brand Voice Choose three words that describe how you want your business to sound and feel. Then take one recent social post, website paragraph, bio, or sales message and review it against those three words. Does it match? If not, rewrite one section today so your message sounds more like the business you want people to remember. And Today: Coffee Chat + Member Spotlight Join us TODAY, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time for our LGBTQ Success Syndicate Coffee Chat. We’ll be talking about Turning Visibility Into Revenue, sharing practical ideas for strengthening your visibility strategy, and discussing how social media, content, networking, podcasts, panels, and speaking opportunities can create more business opportunities.

Hello Happy Sunday and your Thoughts Please
Hi - as I have shared from time to time - I write two substacks - last night on a whim I pulled my history over the past 15 or so months and asked my assistants (ChatGPT and Claude) to provide feedback, summary items, actually build a searchable webpage - and how I can parse this informaiton into instagram and other content to drive readership - I am asking for your review and comments as to what this summary reveals and if this is a pathway worthy of investment of my resources - to drive interactions- have a great day and I thank you in advance. Danielle
