Good Morning Friends!
Happy Saturday Ya’ll!!! I hope everyone will have a great weekend ahead. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Daria, I go by Dasha however in order to stand out in the creator industry and in the UGC industry, I’m going by Daria! I have a full-time job, I’m also a 24/7 single caretaker for an elderly and extremely sick father, and I’m a business owner and trying to be a Content Creator and a UGC Creator. I am a pet mama to a fur baby named Sasha Marie. I also have a fur baby up in heaven whom I miss every single day and her name is Kona Bear. That’s just a little bit about me! I’m sure we will all get to know each other and I’m very happy to be here with all of you!! God Bless and have an amazing weekend!!!
👀 THIS is why I keep telling y’all to stop treating your portfolio like a Canva presentation.
I just finished this pet creator portfolio, and I want you to notice something: It’s not just prettier than a Canva portfolio. It’s built to CONVERT differently. A lot of creator portfolios are essentially digital scrapbooks: “Hi, I’m ___!” “Here are some videos I made!” “Here are my rates!” “Hope you like me! 🫶🏻” Cute. But a brand isn’t looking through your portfolio because they want to learn your life story. They’re trying to answer: Can this creator solve the problem I’m hiring for? So when I build portfolios like this, I’m thinking about the actual buyer journey. This one immediately tells the brand what she does and how she thinks: “Content that feels like home — built like a campaign.” Then we back it up with positioning around strategy, metrics, campaign management, marketing psychology, turnaround time, niches AND organized examples of her work. And notice the buttons. Book a Discovery Call. Request Media Kit. Work With Me. We aren’t making the brand hunt through a PDF for an email address and then hoping they actually reach out. We are guiding them toward the next action. And there’s another HUGE difference: A website gives us room to build an actual client acquisition asset. You can create dedicated service pages. Build niche-specific portfolio sections. Send brands directly to relevant work. Add inquiry forms and booking flows. Track how people interact with the site. Update your positioning as your skills grow. THAT is why I teach portfolios differently. Canva isn’t inherently bad. But if your entire strategy is “make it aesthetic, throw my videos on it and send the link”… You built a gallery. I want you building something that SELLS you. And once you understand that difference, portfolio building becomes a whole different skill. 👀 Drop your portfolio below if you want me to tell you ONE thing I’d change to make it more conversion-focused.

I must really be at the VERY beginning. How do I create a portfolio. Is there a template I can use or follow?? I DEFINITELY have a lot of pictures of my girls. That’s what social accounts are mostly about.
