Torino24 by Xerjoff review
#sotd... Torino24 by Xerjoff... This is a vibrant, fruity floral fragrance. The opening is bright and tropical while the mid gives you an elegant fresh floral core. The dry down goes into a warm and somewhat earthy finish. In my opinion, Torino24 is just okay for me. Nothing groundbreaking. Not something I would reach for often. As for performance, it does that well. Decent projection and good longevity. I went 9 hours before refreshing. I am going to give this a 7.5 out of 10.

Absolute Ice by Atralia review
#sotd... Absolute Ice by Atralia... This is a crisp, fresh, aromatic fragrance. It opens with a sharp citrus, minty freshness, with a hint of herbals to it. The mid brings you a smooth, slightly soapy and elegant floral-aromatic scent that is well balanced. The dry down will leave you with a soft, clean, airy and long lasting scent. I went 8 hours before refreshing. I am giving this 9 out of 10.....

@Antonio Cent this was my first wear. I will reach for it again in a few more days and see if there is any difference. For my first wear, I am satisfied... Pulled a few compliments with it. So that is a plus for sure.
Extreme Leather by Montblanc review
#sotd... Extreme Leather by Montblanc... This is a smooth, powdery leather fragrance. I am not a huge fan of leather notes. Especially when it comes off as animalic. However, this is not that type of leather. The Orris (Iris) in this fragrance help keep the scent from moving into an animalic smell. To me and my experience with this, the leather comes off more as a suede note. Definitely a different type scent profile. At times I could almost pick up a similar scent as Dior Homme DNA. I am not comparing this to Dior Homme, just at times as I was wearing it, this would give me a brief smell of Dior Homme DNA. In the beginning, you get hit with a smooth leather that quickly is met with the soft, buttery, and earthy sweetness of the Orris in the mid. The dry down mixes a comforting long lasting smoothness as it settles in. Okay projection. Nothing that will fill a room but enough to get you noticed when you walk by. I was able to go 7 hours before refreshing. I give this an 8 out of 10. I believe this could be a year round fragrance.

What's the Ideal Collection Size (For You)?
There have several interesting threads recently about collecting fragrances and philosophies behind collections. I'm only about two years into my own journey and have been buying new bottles regularly. (I think I have 42 or 43 bottles now.) And I've been thinking about trying to design an ideal (for me) fragrance wardrobe of 28 bottles: seven for each season. So just a quick poll: what's the ideal collection size for you? And if you'd like to explain in the comments, even better. Thanks, gentlemen.

I currently have over 550 fragrances in my collection. My wife has over 250 in hers. I collect so I can post my reviews. I do believe I have way too many. No normal person needs to have this many. When I do not have a new fragrance to review, its hard to choose what to wear. As a collector and a reviewer, once I buy a fragrance from a new house or line, I have to get the rest of them. Does anyone know if there is an FA (Fragrance Anonymous) out there? 🤔 I have tried to stop buying but it hasn't worked. I think the longest I have gone without buying is less than a week. I receive packages in the mail at least 3 to 4 times a week.

@Robert Sheard its just the beginning! 😆 Once you go down the rabbit hole, its hard to get back out!
Snowbank by Quicksilver review
#sotd... Snowbank by Quicksilver... This opens with a crisp, chilly freshness that quickly fades into a soft, powdery, and comforting mid. The dry down brings on a warm, creamy vanilla, and woodsy base. So I have given this a couple of wears already because the first time I wore it, I went nose blind to it. I wasn't picking it up after a few hours but I did have several people stop me and ask me what I was wearing. So this is a little sneaky on me. I did refresh at the 7 hour mark. Good projection for the first 2 hours before calming down. I really like the scent profile. This is a collaboration with Michael Malul and if you're familiar with his fragrances, they pretty much stay safe and are perfect for office wear. I am giving this a 8.5 out of 10.
