Secret List-Building Technique (Live Workshop)
Heya everyone! As I very recently posted here about how Robin Timmers got 139 brand-new subscribers and over €2,600 in sales... in just two days... using my secret list-building x monetization tactic... And as I had one of those head-scratcher mornings where I had nothing to promote and no particularly interesting ideas for emails... I put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5: A live workshop where I'll walk folks through this very secret system. It is great for everyone, but especially for experts who have tiny lists, which makes it hard to do collabs and swaps with others. And this secret technique is not "run ads," or "post on LinkedIn 9 times a week," or... you know... none of the usuals. If you're interested, the live workshop is happening on Monday, Oct 26, at 1 PM ET. https://go.thesideblogger.com/register/secret-list-building-technique/?aff=bejako === 🐞 So, real quick... what's in this workshop? The Standard Operating Procedure of a list-building system that's not quite a cross-promotion, not quite running ads, and not quite running affiliate promotions... and definitely not posting on social media 107 times a day. This secret system not only gets you subscribers, but buyers, too (I once got ~140 subscribers and made over $1k with this system... within a couple of days. Robin Timmers got 139 subs and a little over 2.6k euros in 2 days.) === 🪲 What you'll need: You will need to work with another business owner or two who have your ideal audience. Basically, you'll be, very legally and ethically, poaching your competitors' audience using this system. You'll need to be able to set up an opt-in page. You'll need a lead magnet (or willing to make 'em). I will have resources for these in the workshop. You'll need an offer or two (or willing to make 'em). Don't sweat these; I'll have resources for easy (but sexy) offers you can whip up quickly.

Thanks @Maliha M. Just registered. Looking forward to learning from you.
I'm David and I'm new here
Hello from Portland, Oregon, where I run a business advisory firm working with 'old school' offline businesses like manufacturers and wineries. I've been a longtime student (and occasional practitioner) of direct response marketing. Most of my work is tangential to marketing, but understanding how positioning and persuasion helps my clients realize profits is certainly worth making time for. Glad to be here.

@Svetoslav Dimitrov I can think of two wines related to Churchill… Pol Roget Champagne and Bilbainas Viña Pomal. Not sure which was his favorite, though.

@Svetoslav Dimitrov thanks for that new bit of trivia. I don’t know that particular wine but I have had other wines from the Struma Valley (don’t remember what).
(ᵕ⸝⸝• ᴗ •) John Bejakovic made a mistake
Hello. My name is Nick Bandy. You may remember me from the hit TV show "Well, That Escalated Quickly!" ...Where a series of escalating meme bids put me out $31,000.01 and catapulted one humble dad into the upper echelons of email marketing stardom. I'm here today to formally introduce myself as one of Daily Email House's new moderators. John invited me to share "interesting and valuable stuff" with you all, but you know what? Interesting and valuable are subjective. Because I'd like to get to know you better, mind telling me a bit about your current Daily Email situation?

I have a Substack list of just under 2k which I mail weekly. I pulled my most engaged subscribers there (around 300) and moved them into my email service provider, and sent out my first daily email today. Now I need to work on getting them to interact with this new content, and figuring out the way to grow the list w/ the right people.

@Nick Bandy they are both on the topic of offline business revenue growth. Somewhat tangential to what you write about, but nowhere near as unhinged 😉
John's most underrated training
I've bought almost all John's trainings. The one that has made the most money for me and my clients is one he no longer promotes. The training I'm talking about is Age of Insight. Seriously, nothing boosts your copy's persuasive power like giving your readers a new insight. You can sell stuff without a big idea or a unique mechanism if you deliver a new insight. Recently, one of my sales letter passed $1 million in sales. This letter starts by giving readers a new insight. More specifically, insight type number 2 from John's training. (So consider this post a thank-you to John.) Also, I'm coaching a bunch of creative strategies who work for 8- and 9-figure brands. When I review their work, I often notice that the creatives that scale are those delivering new insights. Usually the winning creatives use insight type number 1. There's also an insight type number 3. Which is harder to pull off but it might be the most effective. In fact, the idea that landed me a job at Agora as a newbie copywriter was an insight of that type. (At the time I didn't know of John, so I just developed this idea instictually. But now that I'm aware of this type of insight, I can develop these ideas more often) Anyway… If you want to make more money from your marketing – or make your content more interesting – beg John to start selling Age of Insight again.

That's not a course I recall seeing (though I just checked and it was a bonus for an offer from John last October). I'd be interested to see it offered again.
