We built a workflow for AI to editvideos for us. I then took that workflow, gave it to Opus 5.5 Ultra Code, and just said, "Please put our current editing process on steroids by making me unbelievable animations." This process is now being built out, and this is only the first complete animation that it gave me. This is only the beginning. I’m still in shock.

Hey guys, I hope you are doing well! Life is incredibly busy on my side at the moment. I currently have a 2-month-old baby and am running a business whilst being a very present dad (as much as i can). It has been very challenging but very rewarding. At the same time, AI tools have gone absolutely bonkers. There's an explosion in new functionality, which is focused around two leading models at the moment, ChatGPT's Astra, and Opus 5.5. So I'm currently spending every waking moment being either a completely present (again, as best i can) or completely all in on AI workflows/ keeping the business alive and kicking. Not much else at the moment is going on, but I'm incredibly happy for it. yesterday, I had my Grokbot go through all of my context, be it my scripts, my AI workflows, my meeting notes, all of my Slack messages, and my AI projects I've been building, to give a complete, in-depth summary as to how I am currently leveraging AI to make content and the size of the opportunity that I think is ahead of us. Right now, we are heavily utilising AI to make us more productive and to improve our videos, which has helped us get better performance and ultimately helped us make more money. I made the course. I then didn't think it was very good after publishing it here on Skool, so I had it do it again. Then, once I made it the second time, I realised I had all the pieces to turn it into a video piece of content. So, with not a huge amount of effort, I have managed to put together videos for the course. It's free, and it's my current update on my AI video editing workflow. It's not perfect, but if you absorb that information and you apply it, I'm telling you there's a huge opportunity here. The first video is attached below.

I'm currently working my socks off to leverage AI to create content. That doesn't mean we're making AI slop. It means we're trying to make high-quality AI content for the audience, our clients, and ourselves. I think this will generate a very lucrative opportunity. I think we can create videos that generate profit on AdSense alone, probably at a 60% to 70% margin, and on top of that, we can earn $1,000 to $2,000 per sponsor integration on the David Carbutt channel. We are aiming to scale this to 30 videos per month. I've just made a free course explaining absolutely everything I'm doing, click classroom in skool to view it for free. (I've used AI to help write this course, and it's helped me make a course 10 times better than I could have otherwise. It has picked up every meeting I've been in, every AI project I've made, and every Slack message I have written.)

I filmed a video yesterday. Today my editor showed me an AI edit of it... Honestly? Better than what we’re currently making. Roughly what we did: 1. Filmed the script as normal 2. Pulled a Descript export of the recording 3. ChatGPT built the first cut, timeline, slides, animations, text pop-ups 4. That first pass took about 42–45 minutes (before B-roll) 5. Then we spent a couple hours tightening taste / redesigning a few slides 6. B-roll from Pexels for now (copyright-free only) 7. We’re also wiring presets into DaVinci so the boring clicks happen automatically More detail coming soon on exactly how we’re running this.
