Vision? Mission? Mindset?
Hi everyone, before going any further, do you set aside some time to develop your own vision for your next projects and like... maybe some kind of mission statement? Mindset? Do you mind sharing yours? Here's my worksheet to develop mine.... Vision as the destination. Where am I going? Why does it matter? Mission as the actionable plan (specific, measurable, time bound). What am I doing to get there? Mindset as the fuel for actions. What I am thinking while I do it? Vision is the mountain peak I’m climbing toward. Mission is the path mapped to get there. Mindset is the voice in my head when the climb gets steep. Without vision, I’ll easily lose motivation because I forget why I'm even doing the work. Without mission, I’ll feel overwhelmed and not know what to do next in my DAW. Without mindset, perfectionism or self-doubt will stall me, no matter how clear my plan is.

Hi Luisa, some days are easier than other days for myself to stay focused. I always lean back onto, the why am I doing this. What reason. I had to change some philosophy’s about myself and still arrange things in life to get the best out of my career as an Dj, music producer, audio engineer, and a master engineer. My journey started in 2008 on a serious note. I like the three legged stole aspect that @Corey Trahan stated. Foundation is everything. Keep the cornerstones of our vision the sharpest. I hope your journey is enriched. Stay in touch.

Cloud Placement Suggestion
I recently noticed my clouds dont really sit above my listening position or above the speakers reflection point. I have a new desk and now my speakers are further about and my clouds dont cover the full range. Im rebuilding a new cloud thats 3ft wide 5 feet long and would like any info on where to place it exactly. I have a general idea but i thought id also get some suggestions as well thanks ! Ima also open to covering the ceiling lights and adding corner lamps for lighting if needed

Here’s an example of one of the many you can find brother. Price Varys of course but they would not only change the sound quality, but look great while doing it. Lol

David Hargro, DJ Kastle of Audio Kastle Studio here. My love for music ranges back to my childhood. I grew up on 70s and 80s music. I still visualize the old brown radio in my father's and mom's kitchen; mounted underneath the kitchen cabinet. I got a blue record player for my birthday and by accident, I bumped the needle which made the record scratch. That's when the noise of the house began, lol. I was five years old at that time. I started DJing when I was 18, which was in the late 90s, and continued doing it ever since. By 2010 I became fascinated with making beats, which lead me to Full Sail University for my music production degree. From 2010 to 2017, I built my first home studio and made beats, recorded artists and musicians, all while practicing audio to visual projects. From 2018 to 2020 all I did was DJ, because I had personal situations come up which lead me to California for the second time. While in California I still DJ'd. Once I returned back to North Carolina in 2020 I began rebuilding my small business which lead me to Maximus Studio, a recording label based in North Carolina, in 2021. Record, Radio, Film Connection is where I received my audio engineering certification. So here I am joining with a remarkable group of people here at Master Class. I have helped so many people by having knowledge of DJing, music production projects, audio engineering projects, and even mastering projects. I'm talking pre to post production material, from start to finish. I help them all with a sense of ease and protection over each and every project each person has done as well as will do. I look forward to the knowledge each and every one of you has to offer. We all have our strong and weak points, so I really want to strengthen my weak points, which is making a great professional project that can stand up against the pros in the music industry. I have many years of studying and practicing, however, I can learn more. Hope to talk to you all at some point in this chapter of my life. Thank you all for reading my message to you. Contact me any time if you like. I'm always around.
