Wish I could have but you know what was going on here and it’s crazy!
Before you decide what it means
Choose something that has been on your mind: a question, a story, a half-written page, or a subject you keep reading about. Give it five minutes before naming what it should become. What do you notice—a memory, a connection, even the urge to dismiss it? What about it makes you curious? You are gathering information about your relationship with it. Complete this line: “Before I decide what it means, I notice…”

@Pamela Lynch specially in the desert climate because soil saturation habits within an hours and then you get the flash flooding and I have a surprise a lot of people when they tell him oh yeah, we have the the damn driver law because of people that think they can drive through washes during flash flooding

Blessing Ball of Bliss
I'm hanging out with my ten-year-old granddaughter this weekend. As I shared stories about her younger years, I was reminded of the time her Dad (my son) came to live with me "until he found a new place to live." It was March 1, 2020. A "bit" became six months, and it turned into an incredible opportunity for the three of us to bond. My granddaughter came every weekend, and we made the best of my one-bedroom condo. Luckily, I have a very comfortable couch, even for a 6' 4" tall dude. One morning I shared my "Blessing Ball of Bliss" with my granddaughter. Want to try it? Put your two hands together, and slowly move them closer and farther apart until you feel the pull of your energy vibrating between your hands. For me, it's a tingling feeling. What does that feel like for you? Then you speak out loud into that space all the things that you're grateful for. These are the blessings in your life. I started with "I'm grateful for you. Your papa. My comfortable bed. That I can see the lake from here." All the things. Then I asked her what she's grateful for: "I'm grateful for Nana's left eyeball." I broke out laughing, and that made her laugh. Out of the mouths of babes .... And last night, she asked me, "Why the 'left' eyeball?" "Well, you were lying on my left side, and I guess that was the first thing you thought about." OMG, we laughed so hard again last night. I'd love for you to share how it feels when you try this, and sometimes it takes a bit of practice. What are you grateful for right now? P.S. Unlike those early years of waking up at 6 am sharp, the new preferred wake-up time is 9:30 am. Maybe 10 am ....

Saturday Showcase: Essence to Expression
You have an idea you keep returning to. Then you sit down to explore it, and the questions begin: Is this worth developing? Has someone already said it? Who am I to share it? That moment is part of what we’ll explore in Essence to Expression. Through Sacred Writing, inquiry, and intuitive coaching, you’ll begin recognizing your own creative rhythm—what draws your attention, what interrupts your trust, and what helps you stay with an idea long enough to develop it. You can arrive with a book, a talk, a teaching, or simply something you want to understand. You don’t need a chosen project. We begin Thursday, October 29, meeting weekly on Zoom from 10:30–11:30 AM PT for seven weeks. $497 founding cohort · Maximum 10 people Explore Essence to Expression → Think of an idea you keep returning to. What draws you back to it?

I'm going to try and be there on the 22nd. It will all be dependent on what is happening at the day job.
