📚 Letter of the Week: R for Research!
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in business is to study the people and companies doing great work in your space. Look closely at what they offer, how they communicate, what their customers respond to, and what happens throughout the customer experience. That kind of research can reveal where your own offer can become stronger, clearer, and more distinctive. This week, dive into Chapter R: Research and pay attention to what your market is ALREADY showing you. 👇 Discussion Question: What’s one thing you could learn by studying your competitors more closely?

Research is key I like using military words and definitions to them. Not sure why it catches my intention. Debriefing, etc. R- Reconnaissance, exploratory investigation to gather information, but also applied more broadly to checking something out in advance. .

@Joshua Mermelstein your words were spoken so clearly, precisely and true. Thank you for sharing that. I need to hear that today.
Pink ribbon Month October
Pink Ribbon Month, also known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is observed in October to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and support those affected by the disease. The pink ribbon serves as a symbol of hope and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.

I am so happy your mom is doing better. 2 months after my ovarian cancer surgery, I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Awareness ia key for both. That is why I wear Teal and Pink.
Paying it forward.
I am loving this whole entire process. It is really helping me to take a deeper dive into my WHY’s and so much more. I adore this community and their desire to assist each other to succeed.

Thank you for asking what my main goal is for being part of this amazing community. I appreciate it! Before my WHY, (joining this class) I was a successful consultant in the energy industry. My destiny was set. My life was set. Or so I thought... Then one night, ovarian cancer came knocking at my door and tried to take my life. I took my pain and turned it into purpose. I took my message and turned it into a mission. I founded Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. As a Keynote Speaker, I empower women through education - teaching them the early warning signs of ovarian cancer and how to advocate for themselves through my 2-step process. I share life-saving knowledge so they don't become one of the 1 in 91 women diagnosed every year — more than 20,000 + women nationally who will be diagnosed with OC. My goal? I want every person in this community and everyone who hears my voice to know: You do NOT have to be the next victim. I am looking connections to hospitals, corporations, women’s groups, podcast shows, TV, wellness groups I can pretty much fit where women and men are. As a blessings from the Lord. This September GoFundMe blog reached out to me and we were featured as one of the three national organizations in their blog. You can find this on my website under news. TEALRIBBONOC.ORG Oswin, I would love to hear your WHY you are here. My motto: See something. Do something. Say something. And beyond that — I just love people and love encouraging them on their journey.

@Joseph Weaver thank you for your lovely reply. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my post and share you nuggets of wisdom. It truly is remarkable to see a community like this, so selfless, kind, compassionate, caring and supportive. We are knowledge sharing and creating a safe environment to GROW! 😇 My hats off to Dr. Forbes Riley, Makenna and this AMAZING TEAM they have put together. They say, leadership emanates from the top down. This TEAM must have hearts 💛 of gold inside and out. I am so happy for you to be able to take that deeper dive into your WHY. To be honest, a year ago, I was just focused on the HOW, (the process and actionable items) and did not focus on the WHY. Now the WHY is what motivates me to push harder, smarter, and lean in more to learning the formulas. Have a beautiful start to your day, Joseph.
🎤 PITCH PRACTICE PODS
Knowing how to pitch isn’t enough. You have to PRACTICE it. You can read every book, watch every training, and memorize every formula but confidence comes from doing the work. That’s why I created Pitch Practice Pods™. This is your LIVE practice arena—a place to test your message, sharpen your delivery, get real-time feedback, and become the communicator people remember. Whether you're pitching yourself, your business, a product, an idea, a partnership, a podcast, or an opportunity, this is where you turn what you KNOW into what you can confidently DO. 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗗𝗦: 🎤 Weekly 90-minute LIVE Pitch Practice — get out of your head and get your pitch out of your mouth 🔥 Hot Seat Coaching — pitch live, get direct feedback, and refine your message in real time 🎯 Real-World Practice — prepare for networking, sales conversations, stages, podcasts, media, video, and everyday opportunities 👀 Learn by Watching Others — sometimes the biggest breakthrough comes from hearing someone else get coached 💡 Sharpen Your Message AND Delivery — because the right words only work when they're delivered with confidence, clarity, and conviction 🤝 Practice With Entrepreneurs Who Get It — a room where you're encouraged to test, stumble, improve, and come back stronger The goal isn't a “perfect pitch.” The goal is becoming so comfortable communicating your value that you're ready when opportunity appears. Learn it. Practice it. Refine it. Repeat it. Because your next client, partnership, stage, interview, introduction, or opportunity could begin with one conversation. The question is:Will you be ready when it's your turn to pitch? Stop practicing in your head. Step into the Pod and start becoming unforgettable. BE SEEN. BE HEARD. BE REMEMBERED. BE REWARDED.
