𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 ✨ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁: 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲. Not this morning. A morning you'd like. 😍 The mug on a quiet table, the window with nothing to rush off to, the dog at the end of the bed, the sea if that's what you're after. This week we're back to the life you want, which is where all this started 💛 ✨ 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁? Put yourself in it somewhere, even if you're just a shape in a chair. 👉 Also in the classroom here: ❤️ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 👇 The whole page, a tiny piece of it, or just type "done" if you're not ready to show it ❤️ ❤️ All count. Whenever you get to it, morning, teatime or midnight.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 ✨ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁: 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁. Three weeks of pages now. Flick back through them and notice which one you keep stopping at. Not the best one, the one you like. Then do another in the same spirit. Same subject, same pen, same scruffiness, whatever it was that made you like it. ✨ 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁? Tell us in the thread what it was about that page. That's you working out what you actually like, which is worth more than any technique. 👉 Also in the classroom here: ❤️ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 👇 The whole page, a tiny piece of it, or just type "done" if you're not ready to show it ❤️ ❤️ All count. Today I discovered that I really don't like copying old drawings The result is that I drew something similar but certainly not the same. The first photo is the original drawing & the second is today's 2ork

@Mai Larsen these are lovely but I can see a definite improvement in the new one. Well done

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 ✨ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁: 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱. Whichever hand you never use. Anything will do, the teapot, the cat, your own foot. It will come out wobbly and a bit mad, and that is entirely the point. Nobody is good with their wrong hand, so there's nothing to be bad at today 💛 ✨ 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁? Do it again with your eyes closed as well, then compare the two. 👉 Also in the classroom here: ❤️ 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 👇 The whole page, a tiny piece of it, or just type "done" if you're not ready to show it ❤️ ❤️ All count. @Helen Aldous 👍I'm fascinated by the science around the human brain and art making. The left brain v's right brain stuff is the kind of thing I can happily lose myself in.

@Michael Fuller it is surprising how difficult it is. We really ate very dependent on one hand aren't we
