DAY 19 — LET GOD CARRY THE WEIGHT Verse: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 KJV Devotion Sometimes being overwhelmed is a sign that we’re carrying something God invited us to bring to Him. Jesus didn’t say, “Figure everything out, then come to Me.” He simply said: “Come unto me.” Walking with God means learning where to take the weight of life. When you’re confused—come to Him. When you’re tired—come to Him. When you’re afraid—come to Him. When you don’t know what to do next—come to Him. God’s presence isn’t only a place where we worship. It’s also where we learn to rest. You don’t have to understand everything before you trust Him. Sometimes faith looks like putting down what you’ve been carrying and saying: “Father, I don’t know what to do with this, but I know who to bring it to.” Reflection What has been heavy on my heart lately? Have I truly brought it to God, or have I been trying to carry it while asking Him to help me? Today, make Jesus’ invitation personal: Come to Him—and let Him teach you how to rest.

DAY 17 — LET HIM SEARCH YOUR HEART Verse: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23 KJV Devotion Real intimacy with God requires honesty. Sometimes we come into God’s presence trying to say the right things while avoiding the things actually happening inside of us. But God already knows. He knows the fear you haven’t talked about. The frustration you’ve buried. The insecurity you’re hiding. The motives you haven’t examined. David’s prayer wasn’t, “God, look at how good I’m doing.” It was: “Search me.” Walking with God means giving Him access to the places in your heart that you may not completely understand yourself. And when He reveals something, don’t run from Him. Bring it closer to Him. God doesn’t expose our hearts simply to condemn us. He reveals what is within us so He can lead us into His way. Reflection Is there anything happening inside of me that I’ve been afraid or unwilling to bring before God? Instead of hiding it today, pray: “Father, search me. Show me anything in my heart that doesn’t reflect You, and teach me how to surrender it to You.”

DAY 14 — FOLLOW HIS LEAD Verse: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” — Romans 8:14 KJV Devotion Walking with God means allowing Him to lead. Sometimes we ask God to walk with us while we’re still choosing the direction. We make the plan. Choose the path. Make the decision. Then ask God to bless it. But true fellowship says: “Father, where You lead, I will follow.” Being led by God requires trust. Sometimes His direction won’t make immediate sense. Sometimes He’ll tell you to wait when you want to move—or move when you’d rather stay comfortable. The goal isn’t getting God to agree with our plans. It’s becoming sensitive enough to His Spirit that we’re willing to adjust our plans to follow His. Reflection Am I asking God to follow my plans, or am I willing to follow His? Is there anything God has been leading me to do that I’ve been resisting, delaying, or trying to understand before obeying? Today, pray: “Holy Spirit, lead me. Give me the sensitivity to recognize Your direction and the faith to follow wherever You lead.”
