Hey everyone, I’m Derrick from North Carolina. I was invited here through a mutual friend, Kike we had an opportunity to serve together. My journey has included work with mushrooms, ayahuasca, 5-MeO/Bufo, and a few other more mild medicines. I’m passionate about learning different modalities and perspectives because I believe every experience has something to teach us and helps expand our understanding. I’m fascinated by what many call the “supernatural,” though I tend to see it as simply the natural capacities we haven’t fully understood yet! Exploring human potential and what we’re truly capable of is something that continually inspires me. 🙂 Outside of this work, I own a painting company, I’m the father of two amazing boys, and I travel throughout North and South America facilitating Bufo healing sessions. Right now, I feel especially called to serve veterans and others who genuinely resonate with this path. I don’t take myself too seriously. I love to laugh, joke around, and enjoy life, but I’m also deeply committed to what I do. Over the years I’ve developed my own approach by integrating what I’ve learned through my experiences and the many teachers and traditions I’ve encountered. I can’t always explain how energy moves, but I’ve witnessed it enough to trust the process. I’m grateful to be here, looking forward to learning from all of you, sharing perspectives, and continuing to refine my craft.💜
Gene Keys
Has anyone here ever looked into Gene Keys? I studied it about 6 years ago, but soon wrote it off as woo or something that would limit me. I opened it up today by chance, and man…I must say it’s describing certain characteristics that highly resonate with my everyday life. It’s seriously connecting dots, now that I am more open. Anyone have any experience, or thoughts on this?

@Stephan Kerby I immediately felt a deep sense of peace. The information started highlighting the things I’ve questioned about who I am or struggled with to a T. My unconscious or shadow tendencies seen very clearly, then tools to shift it into a higher state. Also the areas where I’m already operating in my Gifts. Made total sense for me 🤷‍♂️
?Ask Kerby?
Question: “Do you ever doubt yourself?” Answer: “Of course…

This resonates. I’m learning as I go, I have to be where I am to get to where I’m going or I’m starting from a false place and will never get there. Thank you for your authentic expression brother! 😊

My immediate thought after listening to this is that some things can be just as overthought as they can be underthought. I don’t think anything could have fully prepared me for the actual experience of 5-MeO-DMT. At some point, the experience itself becomes the teacher. Maybe part of integration is learning where that middle ground is. Is it okay to not be fully okay for a while? To not have all the answers yet, but to trust that understanding unfolds with time? I love the major things you pointed out as a must!
