Selection of coaching videos uploaded today
I've recorded some good videos this week once I started to feel better. I had cancelled my filming schedule which gave me ample tie to focus on some lessons. These will be release one the next 2-3 days and I'd appreciate your thoughts on them and if you want a specific video recorded to address any issue you might have in the game. Mental tactics
Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice on the mental side of the game. In a previous doubles match, our opponents used deliberate verbal and gameplay distraction tactics to throw off our rhythm. It was fairly clear to us, and a few people watching, that it was being done on purpose. Although we won the match, l would like to be more prepared for this in future matches. What can i do to stop this from affecting me and my partner, and what are some methods that you find useful for these situations?

@Chris Lubé Most things were said in Spanish and I did not catch most of it. It was easy to ignore it. Music does not bother me ... in fact I try to concentrate only on what I need to do. Also, I found in between shots (or points) the music kind of relaxes me. The main thing for me is to never get angry at anything, distractions or my own mistakes ... that was the thing that bugged me the most. Learn to stay calm and relaxed ... That was when I enjoyed the competitions the most.

One thing that my wife sometimes do is this. When these type of opponents do a good point or shoot, she says 'good ball' or 'good shot' .... sometimes that takes the air out of them 😁

Shooting training
Is there an area on this forum that discusses shooting training? I want to really improve my shooting in a fairly short period of time. I have time to practise, and I want to use the remainder of the Summer to train. My success rate is probably 40% at the moment, but after watching some of the latter matches from Travermünde I'm constantly blown away on how good some shooters are. Almost 90% success rate. And they do that with such ease. I've started by developing a good constant Plombee at various distances eg 7,8,9m for my training, bit I guess Inhave to be realistic on how long this process can take. Look forward to comments. I made one myself, cost next to nothing. Piece of thin plywood, stick numbers 1-13 in the middle, attached it on a wooden pole and use two of my wife's clothes pegs, one red and one blue. Works fine in the backyard.

I think it showcases an interesting situation at 11/10 and the choices that led to the eventual demise of one team. Is this the sort of analysis you want or something different. 12-11 down ... the opposition basically has 13 on the ground. Only option (my humble opinion) is to shoot 2 or 3 boules ... hopefully hit. The opposition might still win but make them work for it. Pointing is playing defensive ... with 12-11 down is the wrong way to go.
