The Puppet Strings of Compliance - Identify Value-Driven Action (post 4/5)
Why do so many coaching clients execute perfectly for a week, only to completely fall apart the moment you stop actively monitoring them? The answer lies in the psychological mechanisms driving their movement A massive percentage of high-achieving people run their lives on an incredibly expensive engine of - internal guilt,  - social pressure,  - and the desperate need to appease an inner critic In behavioural science, this is known as an 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙡-𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙥, where people take action strictly to avoid a penalty or escape an unhelpful internal state The Escape Velocity Problem: - Operating solely on negative reinforcement creates an incredibly difficult productivity cycle  - The client sprints frantically on the Hamster Wheel of Fear, not because they are moving toward a meaningful destination, but simply because they are running away from the terror of failure - The second the immediate threat feels slightly further away, the motivation is gone Shifting the Rules: - To break this exhausting cycle of burnout, your job is to help the client 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙮 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚-𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 - We use a Values Compass to shift them away from superficial compliance and guide them toward purpose-driven actions, ensuring they move because the behaviour naturally connects to a real-world outcome they genuinely want The Temporal Bridge Metaphor: - Human psychology naturally discounts rewards that are delayed in time  - Sending twenty cold direct messages on a Tuesday feels highly aversive, while the prospect of a successful business launch next year feels entirely abstract - We use explicit verbal mediation to build a temporal bridge - You help the client articulate that every single message sent is not a boring chore: it is a physical brick laid directly in the wall of their family's long-term generational security 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 When you transform the psychological function of the work, the task stops being a miserable punishment and becomes an inherent act of personal values

Your Clients Don't Need More Motivation - They Need a Better Diagnosis Stop guessing why your clients stay stuck - Start diagnosing it Most coaches hit the same wall Your client talks about change. Agrees to change. Gets genuinely excited about it. Then the session ends and nothing happens. The behaviour doesn't shift So you try harder. More accountability. More motivation. More frameworks. And sometimes it works for a week or two. Then their environment pulls them straight back. Old routines. Old triggers. Old patterns. Like a stretched elastic band snapping back to shape And you're left wondering: is it me? Is it them? What am I missing? You're not missing effort. You're missing a diagnosis Here's the truth: you don't need to motivate harder. You need to diagnose better Right now, there is a specific, identifiable reason your client is stuck. Not a vague "mindset block." A precise root cause. And once you can see it, the correct coaching move becomes obvious That's what this workshop gives you In one hour, you'll build the REWIRE Decision Tree: a step-by-step diagnostic that tells you exactly what's blocking your client's behaviour change and exactly what to do about it. No guessing. No recycling the same strategies. Just precision Here's how it works: 👉 First, we map the real discrepancy between what your client is doing and what they should be doing 👉 Then, we run it through the diagnostic to identify whether it's a skill gap, an environment problem, or a motivation barrier 👉 By the end, you'll have the complete framework in your hands, ready to use in your very next session WHEN Today (7pm GMT) WHERE Live inside REWIRE on Skool The complete diagnostic flowchart, built during the workshop. Use it in your very next coaching session One hour that replaces guesswork with precision GET the Diagnostic TOOL Join here

The Generalities Trap Recognise the Fusion (post 1/5)
Have you ever sat down with a client who confidently looks you in the eye and says: - "I just need to improve my leadership"?  Or perhaps they throw a heavy blanket label over their struggles: - "I am completely unmotivated". As experienced coaches, it is tempting to take these words at face value and immediately begin talking about mindset. 📢 From a behavioural science perspective, terms like "leadership," "culture," or "confidence" are not actionable targets: they are generalities. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁: Vague concepts work like abstract paintings. They can evoke emotional reactions, but you cannot hand an abstract painting to a team of builders and expect them to build a structurally sound house from it. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆: When a client says "I am a procrastinator," they are no longer just describing a temporary absence of movement; they have become deeply fused with a rigid identity. Relational Frame Theory (RFT) shows how human minds arbitrarily link neutral events to intense emotional weights, causing individuals to act in total obedience to the label rather than reacting to objective reality. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁: To break this spell, you must step into your role as a behavioural architect and implement the first move of our sequence: 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 We strip away the drama of the narrative by asking one uncompromising question: 💬"If I set up a video camera in your office, what exactly would I see or hear you doing that proves this label exists?" By forcing the client to trade their abstract painting for a precise behavioural blueprint, you instantly distance the driver from the loud passengers screaming from the back seats of their mind. You transform an unchangeable character flaw into a highly workable, physical reality. What abstract labels are your clients currently wearing like a straitjacket? The Silent Habit Killer - Re-Code and Embed (post 5/5)
Imagine your client has an absolute breakthrough session They step outside their comfort zone, defuse from their stories, and successfully execute the exact behavioural pinpoint you designed together Then, two weeks later, you check in and discover they have regressed entirely back to their old, comfortable patterns This is the most common failure point, and it happens because of a process called accidental extinction T̲h̲e̲ ̲F̲e̲e̲d̲b̲a̲c̲k̲ ̲V̲a̲c̲u̲u̲m̲:̲ If a client tries a new, highly uncomfortable behaviour and the environment provides absolute silence, that habit will slowly wither and die Human beings detest a psychological vacuum. In the absence of immediate reinforcement, the human mind generates a self-limiting rule: - "Extra effort brings no extra payoff, - so I should only do the bare minimum" B̲e̲c̲o̲m̲e̲ ̲a̲n̲ ̲A̲c̲t̲i̲v̲e̲ ̲G̲a̲r̲d̲e̲n̲e̲r̲:̲ To permanently 𝙍𝙚-𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙙 these changes, you must destroy the myth that good daily performance should be ignored You must actively look for clients doing things right and water those new habits with - rapid, - intentional - social reinforcement for small, unglamorous wins T̲h̲e̲ ̲C̲A̲R̲E̲ ̲F̲r̲a̲m̲e̲w̲o̲r̲k̲ ̲F̲i̲l̲t̲e̲r̲:̲ To guarantee that your environmental reinforcers actually stick, every single reward you and your client design must pass four uncompromising scientific tests: - 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: The client must have direct, absolute influence over whether or not the task is achieved - 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: The reward must be physically and financially accessible right now - 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: Small, frequent drops of reinforcement are vastly superior to one massive, single-use prize - 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭: The value of the payoff must accurately match the effort required to do the behaviour M̲o̲v̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲f̲r̲o̲m̲ ̲C̲h̲e̲e̲r̲l̲e̲a̲d̲e̲r̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲b̲e̲h̲a̲v̲i̲o̲u̲r̲a̲l̲ ̲E̲n̲g̲i̲n̲e̲e̲r̲ If you are ready to stop guessing why your most stubborn clients stay stuck, you need a system built on the science of human behaviour

The Brain's Best Guess - Work with Discomfort (post 3/5)
When a client faces a critical task, such as picking up the phone to make a cold pitch, they will frequently hit an invisible wall They feel a sudden spike of intense internal dread, close the tab, and retreat to safety They will tell you they need to step away 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 or the anxiety passes Waiting until they feel brave is avoidance In the behavioural science behind REWIRE we teach them to 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩 The Reality of Constructed Predictions: - Neuroscience reveals that affective barriers like dread or anxiety are not hardwired, localized reactions triggered by the outside world - Instead, they are actively constructed predictions made by the brain - Your brain takes physical sensations from inside the body (like a fluttering stomach or an elevated heart rate) and combines them with past context to create meaning It Is a Simulation, Not a Fact: - When a client experiences severe distress before a task, their brain is simply making a guess based on their history - It is a prediction, not an objective truth about their capability or a sign of impending failure The Instrument Panel Shift: - In REWIRE, we do not try to make the hard feelings vanish  - We teach the client to treat discomfort exactly like a flashing warning light on a pilot's cockpit instrument panel - It is not a sign to crash the plane; it is a live signal prompting them to look down at their dials, check their metrics, and move anyway By exposing anxiety as a constructed prediction rather than a fixed reality, you empower your clients to change emotional distress back into mere physical energy They learn to carry the loud passenger with them while keeping their hands firmly glued to the steering wheel This is Post 3 of 5 outlining REWIRE Catch up on the previous step here or read the next step here
