@Dr. Saundra Stancil Yes. I hadn't thought of taking the live interview of Jen and picking out some moments to upload to my YT Channel. (I had thought of doing shorts which I did). Jenny is a mine field of information and she is so willing to share her wisdom, tips & strategies

@Dr. Saundra Stancil YouTube can take up to 24 hours to process the live. Then when you go into Studio and your live section, click the 3 dots on the right of the live in question. You can then download the live file. Then put it into your editing software and select the sections you want to make a long form video (or a short) and upload to your channel like you normally do to upload videos to your channel. Hope this assists.
Going Live on YouTube
Hey Everyone! I am going to start going live on a regular basis on YouTube. I received a couple of tips from others but I want to hear from you in this tribe and from Alexa. What are some do's, don't, tips, etc. that you can give me (and others here too) who have gone Live on YouTube. And thanks to @Jenny Sharratt for the suggestion. She saw one of my videos and suggested they will be perfect for going live. I'm listening😁👍🏾🤗and appreciate this idea!❤️

@Dr. Saundra Stancil Go girl. People are giving great tips and strategies that we can all learn from. One tip I will give you as a very, very newbie to Lives: Have fun!!!! When you have fun, this will shine through to your audience. Nerves can be a beast so to speak and I remember telling Jenny just before we went live that I was nervous and she reminded me everybody gets nervous but don't show it. I'm also looking forward to doing the Live interview with you in October. Have an absolute blast Dr Saundra doing lives.

@Viv Thompson Being owned by Google, I very much doubt there is a phone or email for you to contact YT direct. Bummer that you need to contact them, however, they, like FB, don't advertise or make it easy to talk to a human. Apologies I cannot help any further.

@Mouldi Nouri Many thanks. Yes, the time zones can be a bit on the tricky side. Personally I think all interviewees are really worth checking out because each person has their own unique perspective to bring to the YT Creators table. And, I'm very excited each person is generously giving their time to have a chat.

@Spanky Gibson Yes, I fully understand. This is what peer support is all about in many respects. It doesn't matter what life circumstances are that created the situation. It's more about the person is able to relate on a very human level to the situation the other finds their life currently in. And, yes, relating on this very human level can also bring home that one's own life circumstances or current situation may be indeed a privilege in many respects. Does this make sense? The key here in many respects is to not burn yourself out trying to support as many people as possible. Why? Because if you do not look after yourself, how are you going to support others. Apologies in advance if I'm telling you to suck eggs. I taught peer support to mental health consumers for many years, when I worked in the mental health sector.

@Spanky Gibson Excellent. And it's great your wife supports you to keep on track. Having your own support system to support you in your peer support work is very, very important. Sometimes someone comes along whose life story is such that it can get to one in a very big way and as you know it's these times that a support system wrapped around one is literally essential.
