The next classroom is yours, not mine
I've been thinking about how the next classroom here should come together. The honest answer is I don't want to build it from my own head and drop it on you. That's the old model. Expert decides what you need, you consume it. I'd rather build it from what actually shows up in this space. The stuff you keep circling back to. The things that don't have a clean name yet. So a small question, no pressure to answer neatly: what's sitting on the front of your mind lately? The thing that keeps taking up space, even when you'd rather it didn't. One line is enough. I'm reading, not grading

@Michelle Hutchings I think a lot of us live in that but rarely say it out loud. The bit that gets me is the finishing thing. That it somehow didn't count unless you did it properly. I know that one well. Letting go was never my problem. Being ok with it after was. Thanks for naming it this honestly.
Weekend check-in 🍀
Honest one: I planned to put new content up this week and it didn't happen. My head was too full. That happens here too, also when you're the one running the place. So no big post from me today. Just the weekend question. Where are you at right now? Drop a number from 1 to 10, and if you feel like it, one word for what's sitting on top. I'll start: 5. Word is "backlog".

@Amy Walker that's a rough kind of tired. When health takes the wheel you don't get to choose what your energy goes to, it just goes. Hope it loosens its grip on you soon 🍀

@Michelle Hutchings constantly 🙈
I disappeared on purpose
I went quiet this week. No posts, no check-ins, nothing. I was sick. And I've learned the hard way that when my body says stop, I actually have to stop. Fully. Not "rest while still answering messages." Actually withdraw. Which, when you run a business, feels almost impossible to allow yourself. So that's where I was. Pulled back from everything, letting the week be small. I'm slowly on the way back up now. Curious how your week actually went. Not the version you'd tell a colleague. The real one. A word or a number is enough if that's easier.

@Michelle Hutchings That "sometimes it's hard to see a way through it" line lands for me. That stuck stretch before anything moves is its own kind of heavy. Glad you're seeing some openings now. Thanks for putting it here.

When your mind feels full, but you can't explain why
Sometimes nothing is technically wrong. You're still functioning. Still replying. Still doing what needs to be done. But inside, everything feels loud, crowded or heavier than it should. That's exactly why I created The Heavy Mind Reset. It’s a self-paced 5-step reset you can use whenever your mind feels too full, too noisy or too heavy to explain. No live calls. No deadlines. No catching up. No pressure to do it perfectly. You'll gently work through: - what you're carrying - what the noise may be protecting - what you actually need - one truth that helps you ground - your own return-to-self plan The community helps you feel understood. The Heavy Mind Reset gives you a process to follow when you don't know what to do next. You can start whenever you're ready, move through it in your own time and return to it whenever you need it. >> HEAVY MIND RESET << Take what helps. Leave the rest for later.

When your mind feels full, but you can't explain why
Wednesday is where it shows up
Monday you still have something in reserve. Friday you can at least see the end of it. Wednesday is the part nobody talks about, where whatever you've been carrying since the start of the week has nowhere left to go. If you feel flat today and can't point to one clear reason why, that's not you failing at the week. It's accumulation. Three days of decisions, small tensions, things you handled quietly so they wouldn't turn into problems. None of it looks like much on its own. Together it's a lot. You don't need to push through it. You just need to know it has a cause. ⏩ Something small you can do today (2 minutes) 📝 Open your notes app and write down everything you have actually handled since Monday. Not your to-do list. >> WHAT'S ALREADY DONE << Include the invisible work. The conversation you managed carefully. The decision you made so someone else didn't have to. The thing you worried about in advance so it wouldn't go wrong. The message you rewrote three times before sending. Then read it back. This isn't a gratitude exercise. It's evidence. Heavy minds are very good at forgetting everything they've already carried, which is why the tiredness always feels unearned. It isn't. What's one thing on your list that nobody else would ever see? Drop it below.
