Anybody on this site actually program a c64 or write any utils. Lets see some of you work. Always wanting utils and programs that can do something IE:- sort tax out, help with Maths etc....

Who is getting/got a new C64 Ultimate for Christmas? If yes, why did you buy one? If not, what type of 64 do you have and why do you like it?

On a "SPYX fastload -reloaded" how do you change the drive number. It is set to 8, the only way I can do this is drop back into BASIC, type load"$",9, then the Fastload then picks up the new number. Any easier way to change the number....

Well I have had a play with the O/S system and to be honest. I don't think the C64 is powerful enough to run the software. I found it very sluggish and not very interesting. The O/S should have come on a Cart of some sort. This would allow more memory. Plus a EPROM type of chip so the memory of the C64 is not being hammered to much. So for me the O/S is not worth buying. What are your comments on the O/S for the C64.

Anybody got the C64 o/s. I have received it but not installed it yet. Does it improve the C64? Does it make the C64 run better? Usual questions....
