My name is Djenabou Balde, and I am the founder of The Kamara Helping Hands Foundation, a California-based nonprofit organization that my husband and I created to serve individuals and families experiencing hardship. Our mission is to provide practical support, restore dignity, and strengthen our community by distributing baby essentials, hygiene kits, homeless survival kits, food, clothing, and other basic necessities to those in need. We are passionate about helping underserved families, single parents, children, and individuals facing homelessness or financial difficulties. The inspiration for our foundation comes from our own life experiences and our desire to give back to the community in meaningful ways. We believe that even small acts of kindness can create lasting change. As we grow, we hope to partner with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers to expand our impact throughout California and beyond. Our vision is to become a trusted resource that empowers individuals, supports families, and reminds people that they are not alone. We are yet to establish the non profit i hope to get guidance in doing so.
