So I want to take a class at a bead store. The necklace has 3 different stitches. Twisted herringbone, feel lace (netting) and tubular chenille. They have pre requisites and purchasing supplies in store with 20% off. Long story short 4 classes each of the first 3 classes makes a bracelet per stitch and the 4th one is a combination of all 3 stitches in a necklace. Here are my first 2 bracelets. And the beginning of my 3rd one.

I got in an earring mood this weekend, and 100degrees plus is too hot to do anything outside. So, here’s the results. Turquoise is to match a bracelet I made and 2nd is our HS mascot colors (Miami wardogs)

I always google Bead store near me when I travel. I go up to Stanton Virginia a few times a year because Virginia prosecutors often have training at the Hotel 24 there. This time a new store popped up when I googled. I was stoked until I called. She had been out of business for almost 12 years and tried to get Google to take down her old business. Then she asked me what I was looking for. I told nothing in particular, I just liked to look at local bead stores when I travelled. She then offered to let me come out where she had her old inventory stored to pick some stuff out to purchase. She just happened to be in that part of Virginia this past weekend. I scored a ton of amazing stuff: West Germany beads, goldstone, Japanese milliefleur, mother of pearl, and vintage Swarovski crystals. Funny how a phone call can net you some awesome stuff. The last two are my pieces created from the 4th picture lot of West Germany beads and goldstone.
