@Jeremy Lee You're right about the distinction. Nimiq currently doesn't provide a native smart-contract NFT standard like ERC-721, so my current implementation does not claim to have an NFT smart contract deployed on Nimiq. NimiqNFT is currently a marketplace prototype where Nimiq is used for wallet connection and transactions, while the NFT metadata/ownership layer is handled by the application backend. I built it to demonstrate how an NFT marketplace experience could work within the Nimiq ecosystem, rather than pretending that Nimiq currently has native on-chain NFT contracts. I'm also looking at how the ownership and metadata layer could be made independently verifiable/decentralized if Nimiq adds the required capabilities in the future.
