It’s funny how songs come and go, right? I’m the same way. Depending on what I’m going through in my life, a certain song will suddenly show up and just make so much sense to me. A couple of quick language tips from your video: “It reminds me of my dad.” Not “It reminds my dad.” Remind someone of something = fazer alguém lembrar de alguma coisa. “It tells us…” Not “It tell us…” Remember that with it, the verb needs the -s: it tells, it reminds, it makes, it means. Other than that, you did a great job! I hope to see you in class tomorrow morning :)

Such a beautiful and classic song. ❤️ I have a few little pronunciation and vocabulary tips for you: Different kinds of music — not different kinds of musics. In English, music is usually used to talk about music in general or a type/style of music. For example: I love country music or I listen to different kinds of music. When we’re talking about one specific track, we use song. So, Hallelujah is a song. That’s why instead of “Everyone knows this music,” we would say “Everyone knows this song.” Suggest — pay attention to the G sound here. It is not pronounced like the G in “good.” In suggest, it has the J sound, like the sound in job, just, and John. So think: suggest = suh-JEST. The beginning is a J sound, not a hard G sound. Other than that, you did really well! Keep going! ❤️

I’ve actually never seen the movie you’re talking about, but I’ll definitely give it a try! 😊 One important thing I noticed, and I’ve noticed this in some of your other videos too, is the word interesting. Try to pronounce it more like “ín-truhs-ting” (ín-trâs-ting). The middle syllable is very reduced in natural English. And at the end, instead of “I recommend it a lot,” a much more natural way to say it is “I highly recommend it.” Also, pay attention to the Ré sound in recommend: ré-co-mend Other than that, you did really well! I’m so excited that you’re all caught up, and now you’re going to be ready to join us for Day 12 next Monday! 🎉

And honestly, it’s very normal that when you move to a new country, you end up learning more English outside the classroom than inside it. A lot of traditional courses are very structured and packed with information, but they don’t always give you what we naturally need every day: opportunities to actually speak. And thank you so much for your kind words about the method! ❤️ It’s scientifically proven that when you create a habit, especially when learning another language, your progress becomes much more consistent. Sometimes we don’t notice the progress day by day, but if you keep going, you’re going to see a HUGE difference by Day 56. 🙌🏼 A couple of little things I noticed in your video: Past tense: There were a few moments where you needed “had” but said “have.” Just keep paying attention to the time you’re talking about. At the end, when you said something like “it make us practice a lot,” remember that with it, the verb needs the -s: It makes us practice a lot. These are small things, but noticing them is exactly how you improve. I’ll see you tomorrow for day 11!
