@Michael Moraes Michael, you did really well today! You spoke very well, and I noticed a few moments when you caught and corrected your own mistakes, and I really love seeing that. That’s a great sign that you’re becoming more aware of your English! 👏 There were just a couple of things I noticed: Around the 17-second mark, you say “which.” And it sounds like you said “whichy”. Pay attention to the ending sound. It sounds a little too strong and has a very Brazilian pronunciation, almost like you’re ending it with a double e sound. Try to keep the ending softer. Since we’re talking about preferences, remember that we usually use the plural when talking about things in general. For example, instead of “I don’t like a big city,” we would normally say “I don’t like big cities.” Then you can say “Big cities are…” when you continue your idea. Also, pay attention to the pronunciation of “city.” I noticed that sometimes you used the double ee vowel sound a little too much. Keep practicing that short I sound like in “big” “tip” “lid” etc — it’s a small detail, but it will make your pronunciation sound more natural. But other than that, everything was really good! @Katia Groth good morning Katia! Wow, I didn’t know about that! Maybe your body started rejecting it for some reason. I personally think caffeine is addicting too because I see what my mom and Jack are like without it 🤣 Thank Goodness I was never very fond of it. You spoke really well here, Katia! The only word I noticed was Chamomile. You said “mill” at the end, which is accepted, but I’m finding out more and more people make it sound like “ka-muh-maile”. I know… weird, huh? Just a few things to pay attention to: “Beaches” — remember the pronunciation of the plural ending. It sounds like :bitxchês You also said “on the summer.” We would normally say “during the summer” or “in the summer.” And one more little thing to practice: “the photo of…” not about. Keep practicing these words/probunciation so they become automatic and natural when you speak. You’re doing great! 👏🏼
