When I started Fully Defined, I wasn't sure who'd show up. Turns out, it's exactly the kind of people I wanted to build this for: designers and engineers who actually care about doing SolidWorks properly. 100 members on Skool feels worth marking. Congrats, Chris, and cheers to many more members in the future. I've been part of Fully Defined for almost a year now, and it's genuinely been one of the most valuable communities I'm in. The content you put out has helped me a ton in my SolidWorks journey. I also had the pleasure of hosting you on our SWUGN last year, and it's been great watching this community grow since then. The skill I most want to level up is integrating SolidWorks with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) by really understanding how the tool supports different manufacturing methods. Examples: For injection molding and casting, that means nailing proper draft angles! But I will explain this more in our upcoming SWUGN event on Saturday!

Already downloaded the parts and can't wait for the livestream, planning to follow along live! 🎉 I'd love it if you could touch on large assembly management, since that's something I really struggle with. Specifically: when I have a big assembly with nested subassemblies, mates often go inactive or start behaving weird, and I run into a bunch of errors trying to fix them. Any tips or best practices you have for keeping large assemblies stable would be super helpful! Thanks for putting this together — looking forward to learning a lot 🙌

Learn Assemblies with the LEGO Motorcycle
Hi all, I've just finished splitting and posting the LEGO Motorcycle Assembly masterclass into a series of lessons to step through one at a time. The video content has been broken up, and each lesson description includes what you can expect to learn from participating. If you want to learn more about SolidWorks Assemblies, with ready-made files to use, this is the place. It was a fun assembly to complete, and reviewing it again now reminds me how fun it can be to build. I'll be picking up the next LEGO challenge in the 2nd half of the year! If you have suggestions, let me know. Hope you enjoy!

This is great Chris! Breaking the masterclass down into individual lessons makes it much more approachable for anyone looking to master complex assemblies. Can you try do motion study or Animation on Lego 3D models? I think that would be fun to watch:)
