Honestly, I was kind of skeptical when I first saw this post (thinking “food + Pinterest has been a big thing for a long time - what could new thing could possibly be made?”) … then I opened your app and it’s actually pretty cool. I like that it makes the prompts and has so many options for what someone wants to include in their photo. —— I’m only adding the following because you asked for this type of feedback, and this sort of spotting opportunities to improve a task that is set in front of me is my specialty (ID-ing ways to improving processes is my superpower) *and* I’m ADHD (so I build everything for that customer/with that lens). One thing I would consider is - because there are so many of the options/ways to customize that a user may get decision fatigue quickly. If, in the beginning a user could set their preferences from your choices (ex black ceramic plates & whatever other, this type of lighting, etc) and afterwards they would pre-selected as they move along - that would = Fewer choices each time = less decision fatigue. Basically if they could set visual preferences. Or (probably a phase 2 build, or upgrade feature) part of intake AI could gets info about the type of food most often shot/or the audience, and prepares the selections most likely to pefrom for that food/target, and pre-applies them for the user. This app is pretty good! Of course, I didn’t test everything (or much) it’s really comprehensive! But those are my first thought. It looks good and like you spent a lot of time building it and thinking about its good job.
