@Julie Broad @Rob Cole Here are the requirements we were given. A new Wikipedia entry for a person must meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for people. Those requirements include multiple published secondary sources that: 1. provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis; 2. are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight; and 3. are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content. References must meet all three of those criteria in order to meet the requirement.

@Kate Golden @Joy Young This is my understanding, as well, specifically through Amazon Business accounts. So while you can't guarantee specific bulk discount pricing, you could share that information with clients in case they aren't aware of that particular Amazon Business account perk.

Hi @Rob Cole! My answer depends on your goals. If it's important to you that wide print book distribution (Ingram) is live and ready on launch day, then I would recommend uploading to Ingram ASAP. Their initial processing takes about 3-5 days on average (but can be delayed, especially for new accounts), then each retailer will take anywhere from 1 day to over a month to update their online catalogs. For KDP ebook, if you want your ebook to be guaranteed to go live on a specific launch day, then I'd recommend setting up a preorder. You can set up a preorder up to a year in advance without the actual file being ready, but be aware that you'll need to have your final files uploaded at least 72 hours before your launch day. For KDP print, you can either set Ingram up early and let them host your print book on the Amazon retail side until you upload directly into KDP on launch day (this allows for preorders to be placed ahead of your launch) or you can set up a scheduled release. KDP doesn't offer a native print preorder option, but you can set up a scheduled release at least a week in advance of your launch date and KDP will process your files early and then hold them until your chosen date. For Draft2Digital (what we use for wide ebook distribution, including libraries), you'll want to set up your ebook around 10 days ahead of your launch. TLDR: I would suggest uploading everywhere around two weeks ahead of your launch if you aren't doing a preorder push, but longer is safer in case there are file issues or account glitches. We always err on the side of caution when it comes to upload and launch timing over here. :)
