Okay… I had a little holy s#!t moment talking to my friend Abdul the other day. 😂 Me: “Dude… I think Prompt Engineering may be going the way of the DOS prompt.” He looked at me like I was high on caffeine!! 😂 Me: "hear me out…Remember DOS with the C Prompt? || C:\>_ Back then, you actually had to KNOW the commands to make your computer do what you wanted. Then Microsoft Windows came along. Point. Click. Drag. Drop. Windows didn't kill DOS, it just put a much easier and prettier layer on top of DOS soOoo users can do their work effortlessly. You didn't have to think about what was happening underneath. And now I'm wondering… "Are AI Agents becoming the Windows layer for prompting?" Today: You → Clever Prompt → AI → Answer But imagine Tomorrow: You → Instruct Your AI Agent → Agent gets work done You don't necessarily have to figure out the perfect prompt anymore. You just say: > “Hey, build me a marketing campaign for my 3-Day Vibe Code Workshop.” And your Agent figures out the prompts, breaks down the task, uses the tools, does the work and comes back when it needs you.🤯 That's a pretty big shift!! So maybe I'm wrong and Prompt Engineering isn't actually dying. Maybe it's becoming the DOS prompt underneath the new AI Agent layer?? Just like Windows hid the complexity of DOS… AI Agents may hide the complexity of prompting. And if that's where we're heading, maybe the new skill isn't: “How do I write the perfect prompt?” Maybe the new skill is gonna be: “How do I direct an AI Agent to build out the full workflow?" Hmmmm… 🤔 Am I onto something here, or am I high on caffeine??? 😂👇

Folks are talking about following a workflow. I'm assuming that's like a project plan. A step by step process followed to get the desired results. Right?

Most people already know ChatGPT can answer a question. ChatGPT Work gets more interesting when you give it a proper business job with a finished outcome. Try an offer-gap audit. Give it your main sales page, a few recent sales-call notes, and customer emails. Then ask it to compare what you say with what people actually ask, hesitate over, or value. "Create an offer-gap report. Show where our website message matches the customer evidence, where it is vague or missing, and where a claim needs proof. Quote the source behind each finding. Finish with a ranked page-change backlog, with the likely customer question each change should answer. Flag anything uncertain rather than filling gaps with guesses." That is not a clever prompt for the sake of it. It is a piece of work you can hand to whoever owns the page, the sales process, or the next campaign. The useful bit is the traceability: every suggested change should point back to something a customer actually said or did. Run it once a month, make the two most important changes, then compare the next report. That is how ChatGPT starts helping with the work around the work, not just producing another answer. I doubt this is a brand new thought, but I figured I’d share it here since we’ve talked about project instructions quite a bit. I’m relaunching my blog and plan on using ChatGPT to write the articles. BUT I didn’t want information that isn’t mine in any of my posts. They’ll be my work, I’m just using AI to help with phrasing and so on. So I linked my project folders where I work on my content, linked my website, and gave specific instructions to only use info that I give and my sources. Once a detailed outline is set, it can suggest outside info and include links so I can verify it. Secondary sources are flagged as such and social media only info is also flagged. Then I opened a new chat in the project folder and asked ChatGPT to review the instructions for clarity and tell me its interpretation of them. After I reviewed that I asked for any suggested additions to the instructions. It had some great ones! After I reviewed it all, I asked for all suggestions to be listed together so I could copy and paste them. As a result, I have a VERY long set of instructions for my blog project folders that will help me and keep it authentically me!

A daily AI news brief can be useful, but only if it saves you from another inbox-shaped rabbit hole. Pick one topic your customers or audience actually care about. Then ask ChatGPT to find the latest credible news, articles and videos from the last 24 hours. Have it return the headline, date, source, direct link, a short summary, why it matters to your audience, and three possible content angles. Try this prompt: "Search the web for the most important new developments about [TOPIC] from the last 24 hours. Prioritise primary sources and credible reporting. Give me a table with the headline, publication date, source, direct link, two-sentence summary, why it matters to [AUDIENCE], and three useful video or post angles. Flag anything uncertain or based on secondary reporting. If nothing material has changed, say so. Do not invent sources." If you use ChatGPT's recurring task features, you could run that prompt as a daily brief. Otherwise, keep it as a quick morning routine in a normal chat. The important part is what happens next. Open the links, decide whether there is a real angle, then make one useful piece of content. You do not need to cover every update. You need to notice the few that are worth your audience's time.
