What about Reps and series?
Hi @ Ania Drozd and everyone! How should we manage Reps and Series for each exercise? Should we do more reps or holding time and few series or few reps/ holding and more series? Or is completely irrelevant? Thanks in advance!

Ok! Thanks! So let's say everyone adds salt and pepper to taste… or to body awareness, jeje
Intro
Hey everybody.I've been in the group for three days now and I'm glad I found other people who dedicate time from their lives to gain life. Because health is life. And our body is the most important asset we have in this world. It is our weapon. I already feel a little better and my goal is to take my life into my own hands again.

Welcome, you’re at the right place here with Ania, you will learn to rethink the relation between mind-movement-body as a whole and to focus in each one
How do you get Body awareness?
How have you deal about identifying and processing the pain and movement of your body? It seems very simple but most of us can’t specify what’s going on with our own body and get worse when we also need to track the areas involved to identify the origin of movement, stiffness, weakness, pain… It’s been really helpful what Ania explains about controlling, intention and awareness of movement because it’s not common for most of us “the simple mortals” to be taught about it. Since we were kids we’ve just done whatever it’s needed to be done for move, no matter if it’s just about living or at any sport, even many “trainers” aren’t conscious about it and just want more reps., stretch, etc. and many injures come from that approach. By the way when you focus at the same time on breathing, controlled- conscious movement, engaged core and a neutral-natural spine then you’re on an active meditation!

Exactly!! Well said!
First week is done!
Feeling a bit better already after the first week, but i still have a long way to go. Most exercises feel good, only the Dead Bug Leg Tap iss quite challenging. After like 4 movements of each legg my core also is starting to give out and it feels a bit scary on the right side (back). Any suggestions for overcoming this? Also needing likes to get to the second phase :)

Well I’ve continued with week 1 until some day I get likes too to level up jejeje. I also felt stress in the low back, for me it has worked to follow three Ania’s indications: first, consciousness of the movement , so I focused on moving from the leg not from the hip; second, engaging the core as she explained (also a way to feel the core engaged is pushing with the fingers the sides to feel the the abs and obliques engaged) and third, maintaining your spine neutral, Ania has a video about it: https://youtu.be/CFdxEOfT8LA?si=6SSosnC4ZGTtfNdD For me what is really hard is “threading the needle” I’ve noticed my upper back rotation is very limited so I keep trying slowly and with just the repetitions I can really control, I think it will become better when I get to advance with the program
How is your Breathing?
I’ve done the phase 1 and I would like to share and get some retro about how you in the community have done with some aspects. I’m going to start with Breathing. Over time I’ve taken different “breathing practices” depending on the sport I was practicing: swimming, inhale by your mouth exhale by nose; running ,inhale by nose exhale by mouth; weight lifting, inhale-retain-exhale… but just in yoga and Pilates there’s deep intention about where breathing originates. And here with Ania becomes really interesting to achieve the consciousness about how we’re breathing and most important, and I get curious, how do you manage your breath while doing the exercises? Particularly when appears an extra effort where usually you tend to retain breath. In my case I try to get focused on keeping it fluid specially when things go hard because it’s right then when consciousness has to be very active although sometimes it’s not very easy
