// WELCOME TO THE MEN WHO JOINED US THIS WEEK
Brothers — we’ve had several new men step into PATRIARCH this week. @Brad Lois @Sheldon Jaenicke @Eric Taylor – Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. This isn’t meant to be another community you join, scroll for a few minutes, and forget about. We’re building toward September 11–13, but the work has already started. Every morning I’ve been working on a Field Note from my own life into this room — marriage, fatherhood, self-regulation, faith, leadership, the places where I’m getting it right and the places where I’m still very much doing the work myself. I want you participating too. So if you joined us this week, introduce yourself below. Tell us your name, where you’re from, and answer one question: What’s the front in your life that needs your leadership most right now? Self? Marriage? Fatherhood? Finances? Leadership? Faith? You don’t need a polished answer. Just tell us where you are. We have 21 days until PATRIARCH. Don’t wait for the summit to begin the work. Welcome to the brotherhood. // Set the standard x Rob

Hey gents! Eric Taylor here, from Elkhorn, NE. All of those are huge pieces of having a successful life. My most important things right now would be marriage first, then fatherhood, and leadership. The cornerstone of all of these would be me beating my passivity. The thinking I do need to have a polished answer for everything or that I don’t want to upset anyone and make life harder. This passivity has recently crept up and blown my life up to where it’s time for me to finally beat this. I need to create standards for myself, my marriage, my kids, my work…instead of thinking I can do anything and everything! Let’s go!
Welcome to Patriarch.
You found the room. This is where the men who registered for the Patriarch Summit — September 11-13, 2026 — gather before, during, and after the weekend. Connect with the men you'll be in the room with. Introduce yourself below. Tell us your name, where you're from, and one thing you're showing up to reclaim. You'll see this space come alive in August, leading up to the summit, to ensure you're fit for the work we're about to do. Your first move: Drop a comment below. Name. Location. One thing you're here to reclaim. That's it. The standard starts now. // Set the standard x Rob

Yo brothers! Eric Taylor from Elkhorn, NE. Here to reclaim being the rock of my home, one that cannot be shaken! Full of leadership, calmness, and purpose!
FIELD NOTE 009 // THE WIND & THE WAVES
There was more than one person who walked on water. Peter did too. Jesus came to the disciples in the middle of the storm. Peter said: “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And Jesus said: “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat. And he walked. Then he looked at the wind. He saw the waves. He became afraid. And he began to sink. That hit me differently this morning. Because there are winds and waves in my life right now. Things I need to fix. Things I need to pay for. Things I don't know the outcome of. And maybe there are in yours too. The lesson isn't to pretend they aren't there. You still have to take action. You still have to move forward. But where are your eyes? I've found myself praying this constantly lately: I yoke myself to You. The wind is here. The waves are here. I'll do what You've given me to do. But I don't have to stare at the storm. I can look toward Him. And when I lose Him— I can turn back. REFLECT What wind or wave has been getting more of your attention than God lately? And what would it look like to acknowledge it, do what is yours to do, and turn your eyes back toward Him? // Godspeed

Wind and wave of feeling you’re not doing enough, so you try to do everything! To be at peace and let it go. Realize you have limits and that is just fine. Lions breath all day! Breath work was golden, brother!
