This is such an important reminder, Eboni. I really like how you pointed out that burnout can look like simply continuing to show up while feeling completely drained. I also think conversations like this can create a lot more connection and engagement within a community when they’re structured the right way. I actually have a few ideas that could work really well for what you’re building here. Feel free to inbox me when you get a chance I’d be happy to share them with you. 😊
🌸 Let’s Talk About Burnout: You Don’t Have to Carry Everything
Burnout doesn’t always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks like continuing to work, care for everyone, and meet every responsibility—while feeling completely empty inside. If you’re emotionally drained, easily irritated, constantly tired, disconnected, or no longer enjoying the things you once loved, your body may be telling you that it needs care. Here are a few healthier ways to cope: 💗 Give yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty. 💗 Set boundaries and understand that “no” is a complete sentence. 💗 Ask for help instead of carrying everything alone. 💗 Take breaks from your phone, work, and other demands. 💗 Nourish your body with water, healthy meals, sleep, and movement. 💗 Make time for prayer, journaling, hobbies, or quiet reflection. 💗 Talk with someone you trust or seek professional support when needed. You are not lazy, weak, or failing. You may simply be overwhelmed from being strong for too long. This week, choose one responsibility to release, delegate, or place a healthier boundary around. You deserve the same care you freely give to everyone else. Let’s talk: What helps you recognize and cope with burnout? #Spark40Plus #BurnoutRecovery #WomensWellness #HealthyBoundaries #SelfCare #WomenSupportingWomen

This really resonated with me. I especially like the reminder that burnout doesn’t always mean we’ve stopped functioning sometimes we’re still doing everything, just running on empty. I also love the point about releasing or delegating one responsibility. Sometimes one small boundary can create more breathing room than we realize. You’ve shared some really practical thoughts here, Eboni. I have a few ideas around creating more structure and engagement around conversations like this that I think could fit beautifully with what you’re building. Feel free to DM me if you’d like me to share them with you.
