Let me guess, your inbox is full of emails you never asked for? And to clean it up, you have to pay a fortune for spam-cleaning tools that collect your data along the way… So I decided to build one that’s completely free and doesn’t collect any data. It started as a personal project. I had thousands of emails piling up in my inbox. It work!! Now just a few emails that I want to reicive. I built the tool with the help of Claude Code and Codex. It’s called I Hate Spam (https://ihatespam.site), and it’s open source, meaning anyone can inspect the code and see exactly how it works. It does three things: removes spam, deletes emails in bulk, and unsubscribes you from mailing lists and newsletters you no longer want to receive. (Google ask me to pay to validate my tool but it’s free so, I’m not gonna do that, it work on Gmail anyway) I wanted to share it because I know I’m not the only one dealing with this problem. If your inbox is also full of emails you never asked for, this tool was built with you in mind. Clean your email for free, forever. I only ask you to share the tool with your friends. It’s free, no data collected. Let’s free us of email spam for good!
