Our own AI Positioning Statement
OK, Saturday morning, coffee in hand and I have already read several articles on the use of AI in publishers work, the pros and cons, the publishing issues, etc. I just finished an email from ALLi on The Detection Wars and its now stating that maybe we need to have our personal AI Position Statement prominently displayed on our website. Here is there words: "Whatever your position on AI, a clear policy tells readers, collaborators and retailers where you stand. Our free guide explains where ALLi stands and includes a sample policy to use as a starting point, in your own voice:" https://selfpublishingadvice.kit.com/ai-policy-orop26 I'm wondering your thoughts on this.

Hmmm this is interesting ... we have developed a policy internally but there is so much grey area ... I have to think about this
New author here introducing myself...
Julie's welcome email suggested I introduce myself and share what stage I'm in the process, so here goes: 1. My book name/topic: The Curse of Average / I guess it would be in the positive psychology space about amplifying your strengths, stop spending resources on 'improving weaknesses', and lean into more peace and fulfilment where your true strengths lie. 2. I recently published at the beginning of October and my biggest challenge right now is exposure/marketing. I've made a few sales (from my launch team and gathered some reviews) 3. My goal over the next 30 days is to garner more sales and drive traffic to my website (www.thecurseofaverage.com). Blessed to be here in this community!!

Background music
Does anyone have annopinion about background music during a podcast? I have heard a few that used the music to cover paper shuffling or someone sniffing nose, etc. The music did not mask it, but it seemed to "sand the edges off" of the open mics. What does everyone say?

I used the https://booklaunchers.com/auditmybook and it found things and made suggestions that I would have never thought of - THANK YOU! I used the info as instructions (Claude) to update my website Outsellingrules.com and again Fantastic.

📚 New book alert!
Congratulations to #BookLaunchers author Dr. Lynda de la Viña! The Last Confession tells the true crime story of a family who refused to let the truth stay buried. Blending true crime, memoir, and investigative reporting, Dr. de la Viña—an economist and Irene Garza’s cousin—uncovers the barriers, cover-ups, and persistent pursuit of accountability behind one of America’s longest cold cases. A compelling read about truth, justice, and the courage to challenge institutions that refuse to speak.
