Audiobooks on Youtube NotebookLM now Gemini Notebook
Has anyone put their audiobook on YouTube and had success from it? I'm a big fan of NotebookLM now, Gemini Notebook. It has an Audio Overview that creates a podcast discussing the content you upload. You can have the two hosts debate the content. I put in my Rule #1: Who dares wins; the detractor was not kind. I think it is great content to promote the book and wonder if I should push it.

Thank you! What a rockstar! My audio was interrupted by swearing and rerecording; it was difficult, fun, and a learning experience. I had to stop halfway, listen to Roger Love's book, and start again. "What I Define as success" is a hard question; it would be building an audience, making a difference for new salespeople, and showing them that it is a noble profession (the new crop of trainers is gross, bro's yelling). Group Discussion: What was the last nonfiction book you bought?
But maybe more importantly....what made you hit the "buy" button? Had you seen that author before? Was it a recommendation for a friend? Think about what made you want to buy it in the first place. This can kind of help you reverse engineer how to do the same for your own books to make your readers hit the "buy" button for you!

How much have you spent on your book so far?
Editing, design, ads, coaching, all of it together. Hoping this might be helpful to set expectations for new authors who join. If there was anything you wish you didn't spend money on or that you should have, feel free to mention that in the comments!

It's like a first date for me, I did not want to fall in love with my writing and blow the family fortune on a potential loser. No self deprecation is one of my Sales Rules, so not saying it's a loser just being cautious.
