@Marcio Caldeira The exact timing of when you earn your 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) during your 3-year PMP cycle does not matter, as long as you finish all 60 and pay the renewal fee before your cycle ends. In other words, you can earn all 60 PDUs in the first six months, spread them out evenly, or do them at the very end.

@Marcio Caldeira Some people have many certificates which makes the renewal process harder due to the time and effort needed to track, pay for, and maintain them. If you are one of them, put all your renewal dates into a digital (Google) calendar with alerts set for 90, 60, and 30 days before they expire. I believe that helps a lot. Being organized is crucial. Missing the deadline results in a one-year suspension period, after which the credential expires completely and requires retaking the exam.
