Recruiters wya?
Easy boys and girls, any recruiters in here? Keen to hear how you're finding the market at the moment (client side)? I've had a couple of little wins here and there but on the whole, it feels like a bit of a slog at the moment? I work in tech within Insurance for reference.

Voicemails...
Obviously a close second after gatekeepers in the bane of any cold calling day, but any great voicemail tips? I've always struggled with this, but hitting them on DDI's that seem perma on DND I need a better strategy than sighing heavily and moving to the next account.

Be interested to see some responses here, I was thinking the same thing earlier after a day of VM's. Currently using the opening pitch but tailored it as a VM, still asking for 30 seconds etc. from which I have actually had a few prospects call back.

Recruitment Cold Calling
Easy Friday crew, Having a bit of a morning of it today 🤦♂️. I go into the call with the usual "this is a cold call etc." but when I ask for the 30 seconds I get stuck with "What is it about?" and as soon as I tell them I'm a recruiter I get hit with straight no's/various other objections. I guess my question is, what would be the best way of getting into the pitch and overcoming a hard no in the first 15 seconds?😅

@Gregory Kay Yeah I get you! Just feels like you're missing something when you get a few in a row but as you say, some people are just that closed off. Love the humour route, that's usually my go to in all fairness, find it suits my approach far better 😅 Thanks for the response mate, have a good weekend.
