August Meetings + Screenwriting Lessons: New Meeting Every Wednesday
If you're new to the SSC, welcome!!! We have some Awesome meetings every Wednesday this Month for those who can make it! Wednesday, Aug 5 - ✍️ Write-On Wednesday Join fellow SSC members for a meeting of accountability and writing! We'll spend the first 10 minutes and last 5 minutes sharing goals, but dedicate a focused 45 minutes to writing pages! Wednesday, Aug 12 - 🎬 7 Tips for Writing Dialogue In this Live Screenwriting Lesson, I'll share 7 practical tips I use to write stronger dialogue, followed by a live Q&A. Wednesday, Aug 19 - 🎬 How To Write a Movie In this Lesson, learn the step-by-step process I use to write a feature screenplay from idea to FADE OUT. I'll be teaching you movie structure, outlining, screenwriting tips to write more, and a lot more, followed by a live Q&A at the end. Wednesday, Aug 26 - 🎭 Pages Due: Script Reading Workshop Bring 2- 10 new pages and hear your work come to life! Everyone who attends must bring pages and participate by reading roles in other writers' scripts. Get feedback, stay accountable, and keep moving your project forward. You can find the links to all the meetings in the Calendar tab. All meetings are optional, so come to the ones you can. For anyone new, feel free to put your screenwriting Goals in the "Success Stories and Introductions Thread", because I base future meetings on your needs. :)
