I gave GPT 6 Astra and Fable 5.1 the exact same prompt. Couldnt tell the sites apart
New video is out. I wanted to test if all the "new king" talk actually changes anything for the sites we build for clients, so I gave GPT 6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 the exact same one shot prompt, the same client info file and the same reference site, and let both of them build a website for a real client I have right now (a financial crime consultancy). Did it twice with two different reference sites, so four websites in total, zero iteration. Quick breakdown: 1. Round 1 was basically a tie. Astra got the brand colours more consistent and the top half of the site looked better, Fable did the bottom half better (the footer and the lets talk section). If I had to pick one I'd say Astra, but only on tiny details. 2. Round 2 I gave them a harder, more animated reference. Fable clearly won on structure, layering and the scroll animations. However I would actually use ChatGPTs site for this client, because its cleaner and lighter and closer to what she is after. 3. Put all four side by side and I honestly couldnt tell you which model made which. So the takeaway for me is that the prompt and the context you give the model moves the result way more than which model you pick. Design skills, colour palettes, mood boards, an AI slop checklist. That is where the hours should go. And dont cancel your subscription every time something launches. Use the one you know and put that time into getting clients instead. Full video is attached below if you want to see the four sites. The reference sites came from awwwards, godly.design and motionsites.ai, worth bookmarking all three. Let me know which one you would have picked.

I think Claude is better on Code development. But in other parts, GPT is good.
Why we charge $97 a month instead of $2,000 up front
Got asked how much we charge for a website, and since alot of you guys have asked the same thing here's the full answer. We run a $97 a month setup with no setup fee. And the most common follow up question is why we dont just charge 2k up front. A few reasons: 1. Most SMBs cant afford $2,000 up front They simply dont have that lying around. But almost all of them can do $97 a month. So more of them say yes and we get more people on board. The goal is always to keep the client with us for as long as possible anyway, so getting them in the door matters more than the size of the first payment. 2. The math is actually in our favour Six months is $600. If you keep the client for two years you end up making more than the guy who charged 2k up front and left it at that. And you still have the client after those two years. 3. The build cost is tiny A website usually takes us between 4 and 24 hours depending on complexity, how much SEO optimisation goes in, privacy policy, terms and conditions, all that. That is the whole cost of a client that pays you every month for years. So yeah, the game is keeping people on retainers instead of chasing new one off projects every month. Full video is attached below if you'd rather watch it. And if you price it differently, let me know how you do it below, curious what everyone else is charging.
