@Brad Pepers I agree in principle, however, I feel like it is harder to judge this well. In the outside world where customers have to pay, they "vote" or "inform" you about their needs and requests based on usage. If something is not useful and no one pays for it, it is easy to see what is going on. On an internal small scale, the issue is that everyone has an opinion and thier own way of doing things, it is hard to capture requirements, and they deliver on them in a way that satisfies most, if not all. I feel like the best thing to do, and an approach I took, is to try to drive with value add first. I am solving the problem for you, maybe imperfect, but from version to version you get a new problem solved.
