training question
Hello guys. As a fighter, I feel my arms are a little bit hypertrophed, more that what I need, and it've impacted my punch power and endurance. And also, in near future, I have an important match. What should I do?

@Aria Vazifeh 2 things to take into consideration: 1/ your own personal assessment: '"my arms are a little bit hypertrophed, more that what I need" > is this a correct assessment? How do you know? Hw do you know your arms are "too big" for fight sports? How do you know if your punch power and endurance is truly affected by the supposed excess of muscle on your arms? Very important questions to reflect on 2/ The body will always adapt to its most efficient form for the kind of activty you're doing. If you do fight training, it will adapt to its most efficient form for fighting. If you lift weights a lot, it will adapt to its most efficient form to lift weights. If you swim a lot, it will adapt to... you get the point. So if you think you arms are too big for fighting, then stop lifting weights. If you're not lifting weights, then your arm are most likely NOT too big and you're just imagining things.

What’s up everyone, Mike here from California. I just started training bjj in April and have been looking to integrate the gym with bjj. If anyone has any tips I would greatly appreciate it! OSS!

Freediver with little time/energy to go to the gym
Hi guys, i'm a freediving coach, currently training for freediving, both in open water as in pool, and these activities take a lot of my energy. I'm 50, in good mental and physical condition, but i know i should lift weights more to be in the best shape i can possibly be. On top of that, i also like muay thai on a recreational basis because i spend a lot of time in Thailand, and all these activities together... well... you guess it... it's just too much! 😅 I don't have a specific question, nor do i expect anyone to come up with the "ideal" training program for me. I just want to learn and understand life better 😉 Peace 🙏
