SOCIAL SATURDAY — Here's How It Works
Today is your chance to get your social media seen by other Nexus members and discover some new people to follow while you're here! 🎉 Drop ONE social profile in the comments that you'd love your fellow Nexus members to discover. 📸 Instagram 💼 LinkedIn 🎥 YouTube 📘 Facebook 🎵 TikTok 🌐 Or another platform where you're active Tell us what you'll find there — don't just drop a link. 💛 But here's the important part... Before you drop your own link, go support 3 other members first. 👉 Visit their profile 👉 Follow/connect if their content interests you 👉 Like or engage with something they've shared or comment on their post. No post-and-ghost energy! 👻😂 The whole point of Social Saturday is to help everyone get discovered, not to collect a pile of links. 🔄 Want to share another profile? Come back later with something different (at least a hour later): ✨ A different platform ✨ A different piece of content ✨ A different reason to follow you ✨ A new post, video or offer Don't simply repost the same link with the same message. 🌟 The Social Saturday rule: Give visibility to get visibility. The more you explore, support and connect with other Nexus members, the more likely you are to have people discovering you too. Let's turn Saturday into a little Nexus networking party. 🥳 Drop your social below — but first, go find 3 people to support! 👇💛

🤪 Freaky Friday
Okay, let's get a little controversial... What is something that EVERYONE seems to love... …but you absolutely cannot stand? I'll start... OLIVES. 🫒🤢 I have tried. I've really tried. I don't care how they're prepared, where they're from, or how fancy the restaurant is... No. Just no. 😂 👇 YOUR TURN And no, you don't have to be politically correct here. 😂 Let's see what unpopular opinions are hiding in Nexus! 👀

📕 I did something a little scary… I wrote a book. 😂
I've been thinking about community for a long time. Not just how to grow one, but why some communities become places people genuinely don't want to leave. Why do people open up in some communities but stay quiet in others? Why do some members become friends? Why do some communities feel like a group of strangers... while others somehow feel like "these are my people"? Those questions eventually turned into a 40-page book. The Science of Belonging™ Why People Join Communities and why they stay. This isn't another book about algorithms, growth hacks or how to get more members. It's about the human side of community building — friendship, safety, trust, connection and feeling valued. And honestly, I'm really proud of this one. ❤️ I've put a LOT of work into it, and I'm excited to finally share it with you. 📖 The Science of Belonging™ is now available in the Nexus Classroom. It's a paid resource, because this isn't something I threw together as a quick freebie. It's a book I've poured a lot of thought, experience and time into creating. If you're serious about building a community where people don't just join, but actually belong I think you'll enjoy this. 👉 You'll find it in the Classroom. Oh, and before I forget… 👀 You might notice the Classroom looks a little different. I've been quietly giving Nexus a bit of a makeover while I've been working on everything behind the scenes. Nothing complicated I just wanted it to feel cleaner, easier to navigate and more useful as Nexus keeps growing. So have a look around when you go in to find the book.

Congratulations!! 🥳🎉
👀 Your answers got me thinking...
I asked you what was driving you slightly crazy about your community right now. And the answers were pretty telling. • Getting people to find you. • Posting to crickets. • Members joining and disappearing. • Too many things to do and not knowing what to focus on. And honestly, I get it. There are SO many things we're told we should be doing to grow a community that it's easy to end up doing everything... and still wondering why you're not growing. That's actually why I created my Organic Community Growth Method. It's not about giving you another 50 things to do. It's about figuring out what YOUR community needs right now and where your growth is getting stuck. Which has got me wondering... 🌱 Would you be interested in doing this with me in a small live cohort? We'd work through my Seven Pillars of Organic Community Growth, look at your actual community, and work through the areas that need attention. I'm considering building one, but before I do... Would you want to be part of it? No sales pitch. I genuinely want to know. 💚 And if you chose yes or maybe, tell me what you'd most want help with. 👇

@Emma Pollard I tend to get lost in "all of the things" when try tofocus on my plan. I have literally created a skill in both ChatGPT and Claude for this. It is a scheduled daily routine that takes my calendar, my emails, and all of the daily dumps I have into their great big AI brains and spits out a daily plan for me, along with my 3 priorities. It tells me everything I need to do to get those "Have To" things done.... and then I can feel free to get distracted by "shiny things". 😂 It has been helping me to stay on track and to stay much more consistent.

@Emma Pollard It has helped me SO MUCH! And all you have to do it talk to your AI and ask it to help you work through it!
🤪 Really Wacky Wednesday
You've been kidnapped by aliens. 👽 Don't panic... They've watched enough Earth TV to know you're the perfect person to represent humanity. But there's a problem... You have 30 seconds to teach them ONE thing about humans. What are you teaching them? 😂 And please don't say "how to make money." They're aliens. They don't need it. 👽🤣 I'm genuinely curious what you come up with! 👇

I’d teach them that humans make things for each other. 🥹💜 We take yarn, food, music, paint, words—whatever we have—and turn it into something that says “I thought about you while I was making this.” I think that’s one of the coolest things about us. Then I’d probably ruin the beautiful moment by asking the aliens if they have yarn stores on their planet. 👽🧶😂 And coffee. Don't forget the coffee.☕️☕️☕️
